Dougie is kind of an Alex Pietrangelo type, slated to be strong two ways. Not a defensive stalwart, but competant in his own end while being dangerous offensively. He's going to win the Bruins 7th Player award for the biggest surprise of the season for sure.

Yeah and that's why some would take Hamilton over Rielly; hes a more safe bet, guaranteed top pairing guy. Rielly needs to improve defensively but he has been getting better, gonna be fun to watch in a few years.

So right now the Leafs have who as centers?

Kadri, Bozak, Grabo and? I can't remember who's playing 4th line center, it hasn't been Steckel recently has it?

From what I've seen Reilly reminds me a lot of Fowler, he's very quick and can make some really pretty plays but needs to be better defensively (Obviously already been said about 20 times in this thread :lol
Fowler has improved A LOT since last season on the defensive side and he's being extremely fun to watch this season. Finally living up to the potential

I honestlyl think Bozak will sign for 3-4M which is fine to me. Plays a lot of roles and is great faceoff man BUT to keep him Grabo has to go.

Ill be so sad/mad if Bozy leaves through FA. I remember when we signed him as a college free agent, just one of those home grown, fan favs.

Looks like the Leafs are trying to get Tom Nilsson signed. This guys destined for the NHL one day, plays a Niklas Kronwall type of game. You don't hear enough about him but hes one of our better DFD prospects.

Reilly and Hamilton is a white wash honestly. Hamilton transitions into a Chara do it all type Reilly into a letang there both potential future number 1/Norris candidates. Gards I project will be a good top 4 defender 40point defender PP QB type.

Also Beedub there not looking for a PMD d they have shattenkirk Petrienglo. There looking for a top 4 DFD type to play minutes with one of them a safe shut down guy like Polak Jackman.

Wtf.... Gardiner will be much better than a fucking top 4 D. 40 points? Dion Phaneuf gets that without trying and Gardiner has 10x the offensive ability. Man I'm so mad.

I havent seen much of Letang play but I thought he played like Karlsson? Gardiner is a fucking stud and when he is playing with Rielly expect some big things.
