He's probably not the difference between them making it or not though, unless he's really really special. If the Leafs felt he was, they probably would've called him up already.

He's arguably the best skater on the team if he's up, so I can't imagine him not being able to make a positive impact. The power play is also struggling and somehow I get the feeling it would be a lot more dangerous if Gardiner was on the point rather than Kostka.

Agreed. Gardiner wold be a huge spark for the Leafs IMO, kid is a fantastic talent. I dont watch enough to make an educated assessment, but you guys could really use a puckmover like him in the lineup right?

Ya we really haven't had any with Liles scratched most nights and it has been a glaring hole on the team so far.

I personally love Gardiner's skillset (hated losing him), guy's an amazing two-way player. Seems like itd be in the Leafs best interests to bring him up now while you guys are in a skid. His agent certainly thinks so lol. #FreeGardiner

I don't see it trending if they win though if they lose again probably. And I agree Carlye should ice the beÅ› players. The problem is Caryle is icing the BEST players for HIS style. That's the problem and honestly it's why I feel Grabo and Kessel are not being as productive consistently as possible. Grabo always played a two way game but now he's been asked to play the role of most teams 3rd line which is taking its toll on his offense. Sometimes the coach just doesn't fit players. Best example is Matt Stajan and Jay Bouwmesster Lee Stempniak Sutter who was a defensive low tempo coach made these guys play roles they don't fit. Under Hartley they could all be considered for bounce back player of the year and look a lot better Jay Bouw and Stempniak have been our most consistent players all year. Backlund too. Fact is Caryle does fit what I would consider your core players

Yeah it was pretty much his inability or unwilingness to adapt or change his style that ran him out of Anaheim. Eventually his message wore off. And he wouldnt change it to work with the personnel we had.

I HOPE he learned his lesson, because hes a solid coach, but hes gotta adapt. i hope he puts Gardiner in.

Discipline Committee went to shit ever since Spanges removed me tbh.Taylor called me a duche, but I couldnt care less and that suspension is BS. People need tougher skin.

Well to be fair Alex and I got suspended for arguing even though both of us didn't take it to heart and even said the other shouldn't be suspended :lol: I don't think it has to do with the skin of the person insulted but the insult itself unfortunately. For instance if I called Dooley a dirty Getzlaf dick riding Duck fan. I'd get suspended even though Dooley knows I love him
