I woulda loved to see Bobrovsky on a team with offense lol omg I love how he's playing feel bad for him losing somany close low scoring games.

Now personally I think Lindback will become a good goalie still has lots of potential this was always kinda of baptism by fire 12 games a year trust into a starting role atleast with Bob he played a year as a starter

to be fair, Bobrovsky was underwhelming in Philly.
but so hasnt every goalie Philly has had since Esche, so maybe its not completely the goalies fault

Everyone forgets he was the goalie in net when they were top east team lol he had a 915sv% and a 2.59GAA in 50+ games. Last year he was thrown in at all the wrong times and fed to the wolves by the teams D

i really didnt think he was that impressive that year either honestly.
Boucher was arguably better than him

Bob was horrible in the playoffs that year

He played 1 game as a rookie goalie in the playoffs lol. I think for a rookie goalie on a team with big expectations he played great. His consistency wasn't great but what do you expect from a rookie net minder on a team with high expectations.

im just saying i never thought he was very impressive.
hes proving me and alot of others wrong this year tho

and he played more than 1 game in those playoffs lol
and he absolutely didnt play "great" regardless of the situation

I think the potential is there but there's a problem with goalies that I think can really kill a career. Is confidence goalies are the hardest to keep confident at a young age which is why generally most realize there potential later on in there careers. Look at Mason was rookie of the year then started off bad lost confidence and has for all intensive purposes lost his job. He's gotta just shake this year off work his ass off this offseason like Bobrosvky did and just keep his confidence.

I think I'm one of few guys not a Columbus fan that thought the Bobrovsky deal was going to be great. The guy everywhere he's gone has been praised for being one of the hardest workers in the NHL

it could be the market as well.
Philly is not an easy city to be the starting goaltender in...similar to Toronto (to a lesser degree)
in Columbus he doesnt have to worry about what the media and fans are saying and he can just play hockey.

I dunno you maybe be right. I'm not really sure how much media coverage KHL gets in Russia but if its alot which I think it is not an expert though he did play for one of the biggest teams in Ska St Petersburg over there which I assume would be there version of Toronto in the KHL. Either way he's playing great and excited to see if he can keep it going
