That's debatable. He had far too many turnovers in dangerous areas that lead to extensive pressure. Off game for him for sure, but he did have a few nice passes and shots in the offensive end.

Gardiner and Franson both had bad games in the defensive zone

once again Mark Fraser was our best defenseman. Can't believe we gave peanuts for him.

Honestly thats one of the only bad games I can think of. The other one is when he just came back from a concussion this year. Thats why he got sent down.

Yes but this one wasn't one of them. Did he play great? No. But he was still one of our better defenders. Probably our best aside from Liles before he went down.

For the people that was shitting on Jake Gardiner for being a -1 in his first game back and was saying how important the Plus/Minus stat is for whatever reason. Well he was the only Leafs player that was a +2 tonight.

He was a +3 last game as well.

He didnt play aswell in this game as the first two aswell.

But who the fuck even cares. Gardiner is gonna get hate from everyone. This is why we can't have nice things. Reading through the post game GDT on HF and there's a ton of people celebrating and shit and there is just that one fucking guy that goes "Gardiner didnt play well" lol wtf? God I hate those people.

Exactly, the nice things get hated on because they are obvs jealous we have great young talent
