I do bash the Leafs for sure, you're also very biased.
Im sure if u were on here about one year ago you would be like awh man we should trade Kadri right nao.
I'm biased? Whenever I say anything about a leafs player etc... I always provide facts to make my statement true or reasonable. You are biased without a doubt. On ESH you always say stupid ass shit about certain senator players and how Kessel is garbage because he doesn't hit. Lol who gives a flying fuck if he doesn't hit when he is racking up the points. That's just one of the stupid things you have said.

Hitting and defence is so different, I said he sucks on defence...
You think points is all that matters, well what If I told you that you also need your players to play DEFENCE to win. Players like Kessel isnt what you need to win in the long run, you need guys who can score and play solid in their own zone.

You actually called him a pussy and said he sucks because he can't hit but whatever. Also this is how I know you don't watch leafs games and is going off the past I can think of at least 5 situations over the past week where Kessel has saved a goal by back checking. Yes he is not perfect, but he has improved. Also I never said points is all that matters but Kessel was brought in to be an offensive threat. I'm not sure if you are aware of this but the leafs have actually improved defensively tremendously this year. Which is why we are in the standings where we are

I'm moving to Cornwall in a week(1hour away from Ottawa) when I was there visiting my friend and future roommate the city is basically filled with Sens fans and they don't hate the leafs more than they love the Sens that's stupid to say seriously. I was down there during.a Sens game and they do exactly the bloody same thing leaf fans or any fan base in hockey does. Cheer for there home team claim refs are biased the goals are lucky etc.
People need to stop generalizing fan bases I have never and will never base a whole fan base on a few people's stupid comments. Vancouver had a bloody riot when they didnt win the cup but it wasn't the true fans of that franchise it's bandwagoners or mister wants to stand out. Fact is every fan base is the same they have there true fan, fair weather fan, says stupid shit fan, bandwagoners etc. No one fan base is worse than another just some have more noticeable stupidity than others.
Cam I think it's stupid that your calling Sens fans classless because of stupid shit you saw on HF and then have the nerve to bash there entire fan base based on a few stupid people that's classless more than any stupid comment they could have said. You of all people being a leafs fan should know how bad it feels to be generalized. You guys make stupid comments in here all the time out of anger that doesn't make you classless. Both you and Dion drive me nuts sometimes but you also have shown to have the capacity to have a serious discussion if you want to.
Leaf fans wonder why they get generalized then they go and bash another teams fan base for doing the exact same bloody thing people do to them. It's called a rivalry people say stupid things out of anger all the time and some are just plain stupid but doesn't make a fan base awful based on a few people
I only read the first line. I'M FROM CORNWALL. What a shitty place
I know plenty of Sens fans and most of them do care more about doing better than the Leafs than winning tbqh but it's not all fans and saying their fanbase is classless is absolutely ridiculously idiotic.you never hear about the good fans because all you hear on the internet is the idiots. Hence why have ANY hockey fan come here and read this thread and I GUARANTEE you they think the Leafs fan base are the biggest bipolar, bitchiest cry anytime things don't go your way team. But only because that's what is posted here more instead of logical intelligent posts by the less frequent posting leafs fans ie: Krever, Leafs, Secord.
Truth is every fan base has idiotic fans but it seems for the most part only the worst of them find a keyboard and then decide to be computer chair gm/players.
Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!
I read the Sens game thread thing and I did find it funny how 75% of the thread was just complaining about the Leafs. But all fan bases can be like that at times I think but it will always be worse with a rival especially when they are getting there ass kicked. Oh and Lehner honestly some of the things you say make me think you would fit in perfectly with some of the Leaf fans you hate so much.

Cool story but yeah as a Leafs fan that actually lived in Ottawa for four years (which also has Sens fans believe it or not), yeah, they do spend a lot of time focusing on their jealousy towards the Leafs. Obviously that's not to say EVERY fan is like that, it goes without saying that's not true. But many are, and probably the majority.
If you listen to Ottawa talk sports or talk to fans on the street or even go to a non Leafs game at Scotiabank Place, they'll always have something to say about the Leafs.
Last thing, saying all rivalries are like that is simply not true, because the Leafs Habs rivalry is nothing like that at all. They hate each othet but they're more focusrd on their own proud tradition rather than trying to be like someone else.

Kessel's backchecking a lot harder, he seems to be getting the message under Carlyle. And if you think players don't grow and change throughout their career then you haven't been watching long enough.
Saying Kessel isn't a good player for the Leafs because he doesn't hit and may have some defensive deficiencies is like saying Karlsson doesn't fit the Sens because he's not a safe stay at home defencenan. Every team needs certain types of players and the Leafs need scorers too that can put the puck in the net and change a game at any given second.
Quote:Originally posted by Leafs4ever@Mar 30 2013, 05:57 PM Gardiner sits again. I know it's more about getting his defensive game better, but with the deadline coming up, I'm still a little worried.
To Nonis (who I know reads this site because it's great): Please do not trade Gardiner!

lmao what are Sens Fans jealous of? We have had a playoff spot in every year since the 2005 lockout, other then 2 seasons where we picked up Zib and Cowen. Actually Im just gonna stop posting here, LEAFS > ALL.
KESSEL > GRETZKY, PHANEUF >>>>>WEBER, REIMER>GAWD.

KESSEL > GRETZKY, PHANEUF >>>>>WEBER, REIMER>GAWD.
What are Sens fans jealous of, that's my question too.
Sure we have a much bigger fan base that shows great strength from coast to coast in Canada, whether in Edmonton or St. John's.
And yea, our tradition is much stronger and prouder and we've been around a lot longer.
Of course, I also understand it's frustrating for Sens fans when they go to a Leafs/Sens game at Scotiabank Place and it's difficult to tell whether it's a home game or an away game because Sens fans can't gobble up the tickets for themselves and the season ticket holders prefer to cash in rather than support their team.
I'm sure it's also frustrating that the Sens had the more dominant team at the turn of the millennium, yet the Leafs ruined their chances in the playoffs several times despite having a weaker team that really had no business making runs to the conference finals twice (hell, even when the Sens were the top seed in the conference, the Leafs just snuck into the playoffs as an 8-seed and swept them in four straight!.
But yeah, the Sens have had some better success over the past two decades, so you're right, there's no reason to be jealous at all!
Haha, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Sens fans should be jealous, I don't think they should be, and I wish they wouldn't be. I'm just saying I understand the reason for it, because for as much as the Leafs have sucked over the last 10 years or so, they're still often the talk of the NHL.
Also, if

KESSEL > GRETZKY, PHANEUF >>>>>WEBER, REIMER>GAWD.
is part of your argument it probably is a good idea to stop posting here because that's as childish as anything else that's ever gone on in this section.
All rivals do lol I know quite a few Habs fans that hate the leafs more than they love the Habs. Same with flames oilers etc etc. he'll I know leaf fans who worry more about what the Sens are talking about than talking about what a great game they just had its happening right now your hating on the Sens more that focusing on the fact you played a rather solid(some mistakes but).
So by sitting here bashing Sens fans for bashing you guys your doing the exact same bloody thing as they are lol.
