Bruins General Discussion?

Fuck Milan Lucic, fuck Nathan Horton, fuck Anton Volchenkov.

Horton and Lucic are too busy turning the puck over to do anything useful, and Volchenkov is a dirty fucking asshole. Guy deserves to rot away in the ECHL.
it was a dirty hit, but lets not act like Marchand hasnt had it coming
hopefully he's alright

can Julien plz stop being a fucktard and bench Lucic already.
or demote him for more than 2 fuckin periods.

if we manage to blow a 4-0 lead, that'll be a new low for the 2013 Bruins

I've never been a fan of Lucic, when he played physical he didn't know how to check and would be either out of position or risked hurting people. When he got into fights he always broke his hand. Then the one or two seasons he had 20+ goals, and was called the poor mans Cam Neely, a lot of them were open net goals.

Horton will come around just give him some time. Once he is 100% comfortable again he'll start mixing up his shot and improve on his release. He may also get better if he wasn't with Lucic.

Ok, so maybe always was an over-exaggeration, but he's injured his hand quite a few times fighting, and has complained about it and used it as an excuse in past playoff loses. I think it was his finger one season.

i dont see how you can blame him for hurting his hand in a fight.
Lucic is playing like shit, but alot of Bruins fans need to stop exaggerating.
hes a good player, hes just struggling

I don't blame him for injuring himself in a fight, I was merely bringing it up a long side his physical play (It was probably a bad example but I digress). Lucic has always either been a physical presence, or has tried to be a sniper; He's never been both at the same time. He's always had the problem of turnovers and slow skating. There are so many instances, even in the Stanley cup run, where Lucic stops skating (slows down a lot) after the opposing team gets the puck in the neutral zone, and they skate it in and score. I believe it was game 1 or 2 against Vancouver.

I also agree with you, he's a great player, but his downfalls are apparent on the ice, and he hasn't fixed them season after season.

Then he's been struggling ever since he got his big pay day.

Worst contract on the team, by far.

What the hell are we paying this guy 6M per year to do exactly?

Turn over the puck? Not finish his hits? When he plays his game he's an unstoppable force, but he's more disinterested than anything else lately. I wish rookie season Lucic would come back. That guy... he's worth 6M. Not this shell of a player.

When they came out onto the ice with a minute left in the game I just rolled my eyes. Sure enough, Devils goal. That line relies on Krejci's skill. Lucic and Horton are floaters, they wait for Krejci to drag out the opposition and pray for bang in goals that require little to no skill to get.

our GM overrates the hell out of this guy - it would take a RNH, Eberle or Hall type of guy to get him.

I dont think he's worth it. I would gladly trade Lucic though.

I'd love to see Bobby Ryan in place of Lucic on our first line, though the Ducks would never give him up.

2 1sts a 2nd and lucic goes a long way Wink

He's only making 4.5 mil this year actually.

Disappointing play tonight to say the least.

A horrible first period of play and Tuukka had trouble holding the post tonight. Just kept getting beat to the short side.
