Gardiner on the PP is absolutely brutal ladies and gentleman.
Not to mention he said it was frustrating to watch Gardiner on the PP have a open shooting lane just to pass it to Phaneuf and have it miss the net. He's never played with Phaneuf on the PP, not even once. He hasn't even gotten much PP time at all this year being on the second PP pairing because Carlyle likes To run two big shots. ![]() Registered Merica's Lover ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Maxy@Apr 25 2013, 07:17 PMLast year at the beginning no, near the end he started to more. In the AHL yes, this year he hasn't had much time on the PP but when he has no. ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Maxy@Apr 25 2013, 07:17 PM I just proved you didn't know hockey and the leafs. Then you resort to personal attacks. Ill embarrass you some more. You do knock a PP QB's job isn't to be the finisher right? He's the distributor and his goal is to set his teammates up for a goal. Doesn't mean he can't shoot but he shouldn't be a top option. And like I said, you proved to everyone you haven't been watching saying the Phaneuf stuff. And Taylor, he was the same in the AHL. Nothing has changed in his PP approach. ![]() Registered Posting Freak ![]() Registered Merica's Lover Quote:Originally posted by Wheelz@Apr 25 2013, 07:20 PMI'm almost 100% certain when he played PP against the Devils he played with Phaneuf. And proving I don't know hockey because I said Phaneuf and Gardiner played together when I'm still about 100% certain he did. Yeah okay buddy. ![]() Registered Posting Freak
If your disappointed in Gardiner not shooting, you'll be disappointed in Rielly too when he makes it. Like I said they are PP QB's that play to their strengths (passing and vision).
Actually, Rielly probably shoots less than Gardiner ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Wheelz@Apr 25 2013, 07:20 PMI watched a good junk of the Marlies games when the NHL was not on and he defiantly shot more, he also would do crazy rushes and dance through the opponents. ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Maxy@Apr 25 2013, 07:23 PM Phaneuf and Franson have been on the first PP pairing together all year. ![]() Registered Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Taylor@Apr 25 2013, 07:24 PM Never mind then. You're probably right. I only watched a few Marlies games at the beginning of the year. Didnt seem much different to me. ![]() Registered Posting Freak
