TBH, i love to remember playing old games.. but lets be honest... are they better?

Dont get me wrong, i LOVE old games, but its hard to deny new games ARE better in graphics and gameplay.

I actually dislike every NHL games beside NHL10.

Yes they are better in graphic but, since I know the internal work, they are average at best. 2K was vastly superior on every aspect beside the graphics and offered more challenge than NHL11, 12, 13 and even 14 which I find already boring.

But it's not EA fault, the game just doesn't sell. They would never release an half-ass FIFA or Madden game because this is where the money is.

having said this, NHL Hitz 2002 was my childhood.

NHL Hitz is the best. Plus the best rule; you lose a fight, YOU'RE OUTTA THE GAME!

I came in here expecting it to be some shitty recent NHL game and tell you Blades of Steel was better but I am happily wrong.

You can't argue graphics are better in new games, but it is very arguable that gameplay is better in some of the old games.

Never played NHL Hitz before, but I have played 3v3 Arcade and that shit is pretty fun for a newer game.

Well I have fond fond memories of NHL Hitz. Nowadays would I play Hitz over NHL 14? No, but for the time, it was the most fun Ive ever had

My first hockey game was in xmas of 1998. I got NHL 99 for PC and I loved it. Than I got every NHL game for PC until I got a 360 in 2007 and I got NHL 08

I don't really have a best as I love each NHL game equally.
