Primary Purpose: To organize and develop the SHL’s bank, arguably the league’s most important fundamental structure.

Nature of Work: Reporting directly to the Commissioner and/or Deputy Commissioner, this is a position that requires close attention to detail and relentless organization skills, as the money/salaries of every single SHL and Junior player rests in the hands of the Bank Director.

The Bank Director may hire up to six (6) assistants to help carry out his duties, and organize player earnings sorted by team in a timely and orderly fashion.

The position requires strong organization skills as well as the ability to manage assistants, who will be heavily leaned upon in order to keep the bank organized and to avoid letting transactions go without being updated.

Overall, the Bank Director will be evaluated based on his/her ability to keep player earnings up to date, and create an easy process for players to conveniently deposit and withdraw their earnings whenever necessary.

Responsibilities: Hiring up to six (6) assistants to help carry out duties; deposit all earnings, including from media and contracts; handle disciplinary fines; create and continue to maintain easy-to-read spreadsheets/banking records; deal with a heavy flood of account movements in the off-season.
