S14 Call-Ups and Send Downs

The rule was not made because of that. The rule was made because of Heiss.

He has 324 in the SMJHL sim and clearly it was a mistake. Montreal got saved a couple of seasons ago because of a mistake.

A little different I think, they put in the rule a day or two before Dave Smith got sent down, he was already over the 325 cap but they let him go down anyway's because Montreal already made changes to their roster prior to the rule being put into place because they were expecting to get him. At least I think that's what happened.

As for people who don't like it, if you lost your best player because of an updater's mistake their is no way you would just accept losing him without putting up a fight, I know I would be beyond pissed. Just send him back with 324, honest mistake.

He wasn't over 325 at the time. He HAD posted an update to go above 325, but it wasn't processed.

That's when we adjusted the rule to let people continue to update and just not have it take effect in the SMJHL.

But the rule originally, of not allowing people over 325 TPE in the SMJHL period, was because of Heiss. Nothing to do with Montreal.

So FourFour is allowed down?

I'm talking about reimer which happened last season  He was updated to 374 but he was updated when he wasn't suppose to be updated just like 44.

The updated made a mistake by doing their job? 44 is now over the 325 cap because he got called up. Rules can't be bent, especially when it's very clear. 44 got called up, he's over 325 TPE, he can't be sent back down.

If 44 comes down, I want Nurmi brought down to 325 TPE and sent down. I want the same done to JY. Both of those players were mistakingly updated too and should only be 325 TPE

... That's what I was saying. I wasn't because of that that the rule was made.

Actually the updater didn't do his job.......... Fourfour made it clear not to update him. Stop being a baby.

The update was invalid.  As an SMJHL player (which Taylor was at the time) he can't have over 325 TPE.  JayWhy, not knowing this, updated Reimer to have 336 TPE.  Toast/JayWhy and I talked about this mistake and verified that Reimer should not have been updated, therefore he is still a 325 TPE,

buster here you go. Fourfour should of not been updated at all.

44 got called up, meaning he should have been updated being that he is an SHL player though, which is a point you haven't disproved yet

Technically he was banking TPE though. He never intended for it to be on his player.
