S14 Call-Ups and Send Downs

44 is also updated in the SHL sim. Please stop omitting that.

Technically he was banking TPE though. He never intended for it to be on his player.

He was banking TPE while he was in the SMJHL, but once he gets called up, the TPE is to be applied without choice.

http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=27284

First few posts clearly say that the player doesn't get a choice. If he's called up and has banked TPE, it's not counted anymore as banked. 44 is now a 400 TPE player by pasting SMJHL ruling

44 got called up.

If he's updated in the sim, yes that's the case.

44 was updated in the SHL sim.

I'd say that they don't get a choice. It wouldnt make sense if so.

CLEARLY states that it's not the players choice.

44 was called up, updated in the SHL sim and it's not his choice if he gets updated or not. Based on past ruling, 44 is no longer an SMJHL player.

"I'd say" isn't really a ruling that was discussed. The only time this has ever happened, Reimer was allowed back down.

I dunno tho. Toast will have to make a call.

Reimer also deleted his updates IIRC so that's completely different. It looks pretty clear as day though.

He was never supposed to be updated in the SHL past 325 because he was currently been playing in the SMJHL for all of those updates but one. The one that happened yesterday has yet to be put in the sim.

When he gets called up, those updates are applied either way. He shouldn't have been updated while in the SMJHL, but the moment he was called up, those updates became legitimate because he became an SHL player. This point has already been proved to be completely mute.

No, that has nothing to do with it.

But, Toast saying "I'd say ________" isn't a ruling, though it'll be up to him and JP. The reason I say that doesn't stand as a ruling (right now - it could be what they decide) is because it was never even formally discussed, and when a situation even close to this happened before, the opposite was true.

We shall see tho.

Even if that doesn't get held up, 44 still became an SHL player, and his points were added because he was no longer an SMJHL player which is what is expected.

I don't see a problem as long as he has 324 tpe in the SMJHL sim, he should be fine.

No. That was never an actual ruling, is what I'm trying to say. If toast and JP decide that it is, then he can't come down. "I'd say so" wasn't an official ruling because it was a hypothetical and never discussed again as an actual rule.

So you're basically saying ratings shouldn't be consistent between leagues? That makes no sense.

Please make Nurmi 325 TPE in the SMJHL file so he can be sent down to Detroit and keep him 750 TPE in the SHL file so Edmonton can call him up every now and then
