They didn't "remove" them, but you can't re-apply when it gets back down to 1.  You have to re-train and and another duration, so it costs too damn much.

I don't understand it aside from them trying to be very greedy. It pretty much makes the only players who are valuable veterans who have high overalls in the first place. So now players like Reilly, Jones, Markstrom all have little to no value

If you buy Giroux I'm pretty sure he'd only need him for a minute to get the collection bonus and then he could send him back to you, then you could resell him for the same amount you bought him for, or more

This is why I think I understand them, less people were buying training consumables, and only duration ones, thus a market crash over there and less spending in the market's, this can re-juvinate the market for a little bit
