I don't know. I mean Fins obviously had a great defensive scheme going on but Canada wasted chance after chance. No one had the balls to take the risk to cut to the center.

I didn't realize how damn good Cpt. Serious and Doughty are.
Plus Duchene and Bowmeester looked great to.
On the flip side...
Getzlaf looked terrible imo. Crosby/Kunitz were invisible.
Also unimpressed with Vlasic and surprisingly Keith looked sketchy defensively which i reallllly didn't expect.

What do you guys think?

Doughty was probably our 3rd best defender in 2010 as a 19 year old?. Its not shock. Cpt Serious was argueably our best forward last oylmpics aswell.

The Crosby Kunitz experiment was a failure. Kunitz should never have been on this team hes a good player but we have much better players than him heck Neal woulda been better. Jay Bouws been hit or miss. Keith same.

Vlasic dont expect anythibg fancy hes just a solid player who will never wow you. I think alot of people expect that from Canadas D but hes not the type of player.

So would I trust me. In the Olympics anyway, NHL not in the slightest. I'd take Getzlaf over Giroux 100 times out of 100.

and I think they just look awful, I much preferred the 2010 ones personally and the collar part is a big reason why.

Yeah seems to be either you love em or you hate em and I definitely just can't get behind em. I'm not sure what it is (Aside from the shiny webbing on the collars) but they just don't do it for me.
