I don't care who's playing it was still awful to watch. I've watched NHL, AHL, ECHL and honestly ECHL was far more enjoyable, the pace of play is just so much different, women's hockey is just not even remotely on par with men's hockey in general. It's legitimately like watching pee-wee's hockey.

Its like that in every sport...olympics are better when womens events are before mens and not vice versa.

I don't think so, I can enjoy women's softball, volleyball, skiing ect. Only 3 sports where the quality of play seems to severely drop is Hockey, American Football and Basketball. Shit I find woman's soccer to be 10x more entertaining than mens soccer, doesn't seem to be all the flopping and the girls go hard.

But yeah, if this was after say, Canada vs US tomorrow I would have turned the game off 2 minutes in. The game was just not entertaining in regards to the quality of the play

The fact that all the Americans went straight to the "DUURRR Its just women's hockey" yet a lot of them were watching the game. Hockey is still hockey.

i mean it's not like canada didn't have a goalie who played in the CHL or anything :unsure: although didn't play today but played the other one against the americans.

I just like good hockey, I really don't care if that comes from the NHL or the local Midget team. Just because they don't play at NHL caliber doesn't mean it wasn't a great hockey game. I don't know I guess I can just enjoy more hockey then just the NHL.

I just can't get excited over olympic women's hockey when they lose to HS teams.

It's essentially worse than watching Massachusetts HS hockey.

If anyone here thinks they are better than those two teams, then maybe it was awful hockey....otherwise nop

But a great game is a great game, and that was better then any men's game so far, obviously not in quality of play but some of the best games I have ever seen were games without NHL players.

When the women's world championship came to Ottawa last year, I sat behind the USA goalie for two Canada/USA games, including the finals. Guess what? I still had as good of a time as I do going to Sens game or 67s games because it's still damn good hockey. Putting down women's hockey because it's women playing is one of the dumbest things I've heard.
