I definitely understand that you guys are frustrated with the referees decisions, I probably would've been as well if those calls would have went against us. I think both the penalty kick and the red card are calls you CAN make, but you certainly don't have to. Plus Portugal should have gotten a penalty kick in the second period themselves, although the game was already decided by then. I didn't see any flopping or diving from us however, there is contact with both Götze and Müller that caused them to gown and besides, if you have Ronaldo on your team you sure shouldn't complain about diving . Other than that, there were very few fouls in this game on either side anyway.

I think I would have called the PS, Perreira put in little effort there, but it wasn't a clear cut call. However the red card was a little much imo. Pepe should not have done what he did, but not like it was a Zidane lol.

I just really hate red cards, I think they should be used ONLY on clear cut for sure deserved fouls. It ruins a game.

Agree with you on that one, I probably would have called the penalty kick but wouldn't have given the red card (just a yellow one). Considering all the stuff that Pepe got away with in the past though, I have a hard time feeling bad for him.

But yeah, a red card can basically end a game for your team, so those decisions sting way more than getting or not getting a penalty kick.
