The time has come to lay Dani Forsberg, and all his misspelled first-name glory, to rest.

I would like to thank everyone from the Prince George Firebirds, Buffalo Stampede, Calgary Dragons, and the West Kendall Platoon for some wonderful memories, a ton of laughs, and for helping me reach for the stars or some shit.

I've wanted to come back and work on Forsberg for a few seasons now but I also recognized that no matter how hard I fought regression, I would never get a few of my "inactive" seasons back. As such, I decided to save all of my time, energy and $$$ for the next player, coming to a SMJHL team nearest you once the trade deadline passes.

Dani Forsberg was a great player and great Dragon.  #9 played in Calgary for a handful of seasons and was apart of the new group of dragons along with Joe K, Roman Augustus and Izzy who came in and propelled the franchise back to elite level. Forsberg came out of the SMJHL as the absolute best prospect in the league..  and came into calgary and made sacrifices to win..like turning his power forward player into a pass first distributer so he could gel with Joe on there line. He gave up some of his hitting as well... great team player, great team mate .... great career.
