Colorado Raptors S50 Captains Announcement
|
NONAME
Registered Posting Freak Season 50 of the SMJHL is officially underway and this year looks to be a big one of the Colorado Raptors organization. We have had a lot of dark days behind us, however, management was doing everything possible to gather the correct players and to not rush the rebuild process. After years of successful drafts and then some league shifting trades this past draft, we are finally ready to contend for the Four Star Cup. With that being said the team has held its annual voting for who will represent the organization as the captain and the alternate captains.
Alternate: Henrik Lekberg Osterman (@Thatguy91) - Placing 2nd in the voting comes sophomore Osterman. Osterman has been a huge part of the activiness in the locker room for the Raptors. Even with the huge time difference, he is constantly contributing to the locker room as well as holding other various roles within the organization such as being a scout. He always has a positive vibe and easy to talk to person. He always puts the team first and is one of, if not the first person to congratulate teammates on their successes. It is safe to say Osterman will go down as one of the biggest steals in SMJHL history and the team is honoured to have him represent them. Alternate: Vorian Atreides (@OrbitingDeath) - Placing 3rd in the team voting comes Atreides. Atreides is another huge influence in the locker room who is from the successful S49 SMJHL draft where he was drafted 2nd OA. The organization was excited to add him to the team as they knew he would come in and immediately be a leader within the locker room and we have not been disappointed. He continues to be one of the more active people with the team and is always looking to help out. Captain: Bo Kane - And finally, placing 1st is Kane. He has been voted captain for the 2nd time in a row by his fellow teammates. This will be his last year holding the C as he will be looking to pass the torch to the next guy in his final season next year. He is excited to be representing the team, especially with the expectations being so high this year. The Colorado Raptors are filled with active and lovely people who are always down to help whenever it is required. Everyone in that locker room is a leader and that's what makes the locker room so special. So even without having a letter stitched on their jersey, they are just as much of a leader as the three mentioned above.
