Maxime is mainly afraid of getting caught out for having a growing dependency on huffing petrol. But what does he really have a phobia of? That's a hard question. As the seasons roll on, I would say he has developed a fear of never bearing able to raise the challenge cup. He has been trying hard, and the Dragons have gotten close, but he still hasn't managed to accomplish it. The only other thing that really comes close to that feeling (that all hockey players get really) is warts. He'd always found them disgusting, and whenever he thought of them all he wanted to do was get it out of his mind as quick as possible. That had a trace though, back in junior there was this kid he played against a couple of times who had them on his hands, and he would take of his gloves in scuffles just to freak the others out. Maybe huffing more petrol is the answer...

Everyone has fears in life and Lil’ Manius is no different. Grow up in the Manius household there were plenty of things that you could be scared of such as discussing your report card with Mr. Manius: The catching the old man stepping out of the shower: being catch doing anything nonsense. Worse of all catching parent in the mist of doing something intimate. That can scar you for life. Although luckily none of the childhood or adolescent fears follow Lil’ in to adulthood. However, there was one childhood fear that continues to haunt him to this day and that fear it the fear of breaking though ice and drowning. You can image how difficult this was when all the kids from school wanted to play pond hockey. There were plenty of bad excuses as get out of playing pond hockey. Luckily the rink the Lil’ Manius play at growing up was an indoor rink and the fear does not present itself at indoor rinks.

Jøln DuBølk of the Tampa Bay Barracuda's biggest fear is being around small children. Being a giant of a Swedish man, he constantly has to be careful of his surroundings, especially around young children. In an SMJHL game, when he was with the Lethbridge Lions, DuBølk was asked to be at the end of a line of children that were to lead the starting lineup off the ice. When they began to get on the ice, one of the children suddenly stopped, causing a domino effect on the kids, then going to DuBølk, who tripped and fell. Fortunately, he fell to the side without injuring any of the kids, but it instilled a new fear that would not be cured. He had to begin seeing a therapist afterward, who he began to gain an appreciation towards. Because of that, he eventually met his current girlfriend, who followed him to the big stage in Tampa.
