SHL S50 Game 148 - LAP @ CHI

SHL Game 148 Advanced Taterlytics Report:
Posessor: Daniel Smeb @Kylrad
Team: Chicago Syndicate
Victim: N/A
Team: Los Angeles Panthers
Time: N/A
Total possession time:  1:00:00
Hot po-take-to: Tonight the Syndicate travel to beautiful Los Angeles to take on the Panthers for our Friday night Game of the Week. This week is a bit special because on the ice Chicago is skating a 6th player. You have probably heard about him due to his unique play style and willingness to change teams more often than most of these guys change their socks. We are, of course, talking about Steve. You may know Steve by his prior work as The Hot Potato. However, he has now negotiated a league minimum $2.5M contract with the SHL with the help of the SHL Players Association.

This has created a bit of a sticky situation for the whole league as a 6th skater is against most policies, but it was decided that Steve actually gives no advantage to the possessing team. Also due to his ability to quickly change teams his salary is covered on a per-game basis of $50k paid by the team that holds him at the end of the game.

And in this game Steve might have just made a difference. Although you wont see his name on the score sheet you'll see Daniel Smeb brought in 1 goal and 1 point today and many believe it may be due, at least in part, to Steve whispering strategies into his ear. The Panthers were clearly not happy with today's results and you can expect a storm is brewing.
