Hot po-take-to: Daniel Smeb has now officially stated he "hates this fucking thing" and it seems to really be messing with his head. In today's game against New England Smeb put up an abysmal -2 with only 1 shot on goal and a 30.4% face off average. In pre and post game interviews he refused to speak to the media at all, even with assurances that it would not be in reference to The Hot Potato. Chicago's trainers are getting concerned about the amount of time Smeb has possessed The Hot Potato and are worried he may suffer from some of the same issues Artemi Berezin did earlier this season after prolonged contact with The Potato. However, leaks from the locker room seem to indicate that The Potato ("Steve") is really gaining a good grasp of the English language. It's rumored he's even begun with the locker room chirps and referred to center Martijn Westbroek ( @JNH ) as a "plug" which was met with wild laughter from the rest of the Syndicate team as it is likely the first time anyone has ever been directly insulted by a potato.
