SHL S50 Game 185 - BUF @ CHI

SHL Game 185 Advanced Taterlytics Report:
Posessor: Daniel Smeb @Kylrad
Team: Chicago Syndicate
Victim: N/A
Team: Buffalo Stampede
Time: N/A
Total possession time: 1:00:00
Hot po-take-to: Another day passes and another day with no action from Daniel Smeb. His agent has been extremely vocal about how The Hot Potato is causing undue stress to Smeb and that he's at a distinct disadvantage to other players who do not have this "obnoxious vegetable droning on and on all day" and "directly impacting my client's [Smeb] mental state". However, the Chicago Syndicate General Manager has stayed extremely quiet about this whole thing. Rumors have been swirling from Mike Mulligan on 670AM's sports radio show "The Score" about a possible trade. Since Smeb is no longer eligible to be sent down to the SMJHL there are limited options available. Mulligan stated that "at this rate Chicago would get lucky to get a bag of pucks" for Smeb but this was a very unpopular opinion from the fan base. Only time will tell what Chicago has in store.

SHL S50 Game 196 - TEX @ CHI

SHL Game 196 Advanced Taterlytics Report:
Posessor: Daniel Smeb @Kylrad
Team: Chicago Syndicate
Victim: N/A
Team: Texas Renegades
Time: N/A
Total possession time: 1:00:00
Hot po-take-to: In pre-game warm ups Smeb was seen practicing checking on his own teammates and running into the boards at an extremely high speed. When asked about the odd behavior the Chicago GM stated that Smeb was working to up his checking game in order to get rid of The Potato. But to spectators the movements looked completely bizarre and without much of a system. He just bounced around the ice running into anything in his way. But once the whistle blew to start the game Smeb seemed to have lost all desire to hit someone but he put up the best game he has in a while. With a Power Play goal late in the first period it looked like he may have shook out whatever demons keeping him down. His game play seemed to wane later into the game, but there was definitely a bright spark that we haven't seen from Smeb in a number of games. Is he trying to stun The Potato in his pre game rituals? We'll have to wait and see if this was a one time fluke or if Daniel Smeb is coming back into his own.
