No matter who you like, the fact that Liberals and Conservatives have nearly an identical share of popular vote but Liberals will end up with roughly 40 more seats is ridiculous. Neither of the big two will pass it since every election is a 50/50 for them.

Agreed, would love to see something different then FPTP, really like the idea of ranked ballots. Where I'm at it's always between libs and cons, so really any other party is a wasted vote.

We almost got rid of it in PEI. I'm still so disappointed about that effort failing.

Was really hoping to see some more variation in there. Especially after the greens did so well provincially here last year, it's a bummer to see us send 4 more liberals out to Ottawa like we always do. So much of the election cycle is made about the party leaders, even though Prime Minister doesn't carry the same weight as say a President, and then you get all these scared voters thinking "Trudeau has to go" or "Scheer can't win" ... ugh it's so frustrating. Two party systems don't work for the people, they work for the parties.
