You Hamilton boners already wrecked the sim engine, we don’t need to wreck our established locker rooms as well.

On one hand, harsh. On the other hand, true.

I mean it was only a matter of time. Someone made a thread back in 2008 about passing being a problem. The locker room part I understand and completely get. Hence why i stated it was a raw idea

I do like the idea of, with a possible switch to the new engine, establishing a one time player option, where players who want to have a change can opt out of current contracts, leave it up to the player like an NBA contract

Bruh. Why. This engine switch is already a massive burden for the head office over the next several weeks and months. Why are we trying to make it any more difficult by changing up team structure.

I would think that that idea would be more of a burden on updaters, who handle player locations, and gm's. Not so much HO.

You don’t think letting players opt out of contracts that weren’t signed with a player option would be a burden for the Head Office? Cmon lol think for a minute

If we had more than 2 people actually doing shit in HO, maybe not so much an issue

We actually have had more than 2 people doing things in HO lately, it’s quite nice. And it really isn’t the workload that would be the burden. It’s the mental and emotional burden that would come with the sheer amount of blowback the HO would receive for going through with breaking contracts on a whim.

Last I’ll speak on this in this thread.

It's generally been people agreeing with the idea, I'm really hoping that at some point someone from HO will say something. Or another GM. It's really just been WBF and the rest of us heathens.
