This year with the event falling on a Friday, the SHL decided to give its players 4 days off for Valentine's day. We followed the SHL's favourite couple, Lallo Selman and Daniel Bischoff on their Valentine's day weekend to get a look at what they had planned for the special day. Since it was their first Valentine's day together, Lallo decided to treat Daniel and make it an extra special weekend. The couple flew to Italy Thursday night to spend their first day there on Friday. They started day 1 in the Italian Riviera's beautiful Portofino. Lallo Rented a waterfront villa for the two, where they spent the first part of their day swimming and enjoying the amazing view together.

Towards the afternoon, the couple took the helicopter that Lallo chartered for the weekend to take a 20 minute flight down to nearby Cinqueterre. They quickly visited Manarola and Riomaggiore before heading to La Spezia where they got on board the private dinner cruise that Lallo reserved for them. The cruise was a 3 hour trip across Italy's Cinqueterre region as they watched the sunset and ate homemade food.



After the cruise, they flew back to their portofino villa where they spent the night before taking their helicopter to fly to Daniel's hometown of Lausanne, Switzerland the next day. Daniel took Lallo around his city showing him all the most interesting places that he absolutely had to see. Later in the day they visited Daniel's childhood home where Lallo finally got to meet Daniel's parents and family. They ended the night by going to Lausanne's famous Cinema Pathe to watch Birds of Prey. Daniel rented out an entire VIP room for them where they spent the entire movie having lots of fun....they probably wouldn't be able to summarize the movie though.

After the movie they went back to Daniel's house where they spent the night before flying back down to North America the next day so that Lallo could rejoin the Syndicate's playoff push and Daniel could head back to Alaska to finish off the SMJHL season.

Geoff Moores love life is pretty quiet at the time, he's more focused on hockey and keeping his old ass in shape so he can keep playing for longer. For Valentines day, he plans to hike in the woods and then watch Die Hard.

Henrik Lundqvist Jr does not have a girlfriend he wishes he had one but it just has not happened yet. He was all alone on valentines day but that might change one day. There is still time to find some one for him he is not old yet and when he is a successful hockey player maybe things will change for him and he will have better luck.
