if there was a rule against that i'd say punish it. Worth noting as said earlier in the thread, buffalo ran 3 lines with at least one pass first player, 1st 2nd and 3rd line all had a pass first player.
The rule breaking part is actually just semantics as we played our "all scoring" line less minutes then we needed too
That is what I´m saying, interesting that you are still allowed to use all shooters in last minute lines, knowing what we know now - of course you will put all shooters out there if you want to tie the game.
we (GMs) talked about this one during the off-season rule-making time and decided last minute lines were allowed to be all shooters so no rule issues there, i'm sure a lot of teams did this

I see, at least in Buffalo´s case that was a bigger difference maker - tried to look around and found only penalties caused or 5-2 goal scored in a 6-3 win by the 4th line shooters.

That 3-3 tie got them points with all shooters in last minute.

What point are you making? You can play all-scorer units on special teams and last minute offensive strategies.

I would have zero desire to be a GM here with these rules. I get why they're around, but too much red tape.

The rule is only in place for this season. It’s meant to function as a bandaid for the final STHS season. For the most part, it worked like a charm and everyone was able to abide without issue.

Obviously there was an issue here that arose because of miscommunication between myself and Tomen, but it’s a penalty we have no issue with.

Bit silly that you get ´punished´ and are still allowed to do whatever in those special teams and last minute offensive setups.

Gonna have to disagree considering I made the rule.
