There is a small change in scoring for the upcoming season.


Skaters:
Goals: 4 points (G * 4)
Assists: 3 points (A * 2)
Shots on Goal: 0.3 points (SOG * 0.3)
Hits: 0.4 points (HIT * 0.4)
Shot Blocks: 0.6 points (SB * 0.6) for Forwards
Shot Blocks: 0.9 points (SB * 0.9) for Defencemen


Goalies:
Wins: 5 points (W * 5)
Shutouts: 5 points (SO * 5)
Saves: 0.1 points ([SA - GA] * 0.1)

There is an increase in shots blocked in the tests that I have seen this nerf should make it so that guys on weaker teams with higher shots block. What I found was there were some forwards with a lot of shots blocked that could be a top 3 fantasy pick despite only getting 20ish points. Defencemen tend to get fewer points too so having a higher ratio for shots blocked should increase their fantasy points to the same level as forwards.

The range for the top 24 forwards was 380-264.
The range for the top 16 defencemen was 372.9-276.1
The range for the top 8 goalies was 391.8-288.6

Last season Ranges:
Forwards:
348.7-261.9
Defencemen:
323.7-264.7
Goalies:
325.0-280.1


Additionally, just a reminder but you must PM the next person, tags system is inconsistent and this should make groups run smoother running forward. Also, I would like to say this is just a short term fix, we are potentially looking at maybe switching to a rotisserie league. I will try and get more info about that during the season. We want to collect more data with actual builds. Also drafting should happen soon, probably going to be up tomorrow morning.
