There were several grievances I had with this organization but it's very clear now with the news of my recent junior teammate Jukka Timonen being shipped out in an attempt to accelerate the process, that there are going to be key differences with certain people in the locker room that just cannot be fixed for the better.

That is referring to my SMJHL GMs who unfortunately had sold us a web of lies in believing in the youth movement when they were only interested in quick fixes, and attempts to win now. Especially with our recent thumping by the Detroit Falcons, the message even before the game was that we were to keep all hands on deck and remain steady on our course. As much as the reassurances from our great leader @SDCore about us being a young team were to try and keep us focused on being together, there is only nothing but doubt in my mind about anything else might come out of his mouth. As for @JNH, I thought he would be a player's GM but clearly is a con man working alongside his shadowy partner.

It might seem petty to demand a move out of the team that had taken a chance on me all the way in the 5th round, but at the end of the day, I was going to likely be picked up by somebody. I knew already that I was too good of a player not to be recognized sooner than later and it just happened to be Newfoundland that was lucky enough to see that fact first. No, it goes beyond that also extends to Chicago themselves.

First off, being the only pick in the last few seasons has left me with serious doubt about the sustainability of this team. They look poised to do well for themselves but eventually when I make that group (and it's guaranteed that I will), my supporting cast will likely all be with a foot out of the door, that is if they haven't retired their skates already. Being the leader on the team is a role I'll happily take on but having to go through what Harry Carpet does in Toronto at this moment seems to be an absolute waste of my prime years in my career.

While it may be understandable that teams will have made their shots and inevitably have to pay for it, not being able to look forward with a fellow teammate from my S53 class has to be a very short sighted decision. In my opinion it is already one of the best draft classes and will likely have long standing and prominent members of this community for seasons and seasons to come. To only be able to come away with one of the many talented players is a disappointment to say the least.

It might seem that I have a strong need for some sort of companionship with a junior teammate being traded away and not having fellow prospects to join my senior team. The reality is, this is a team effort and all I have seen are inconsistencies that don't align with that train of thought. The most egregious inconsistency is how the 13TH OVERALL PICK GETS $13M?! Especially as a re-create who already doesn't need that kind of money? At the very least I should have been paid another $2M on top of what this other guy made being picked 2 spots higher.

Anyways, trade me I'm out. I don't doubt that the Berserkers will move me as well. Only hope that my new home will be better than Maine or Vancouver.

I have been told by @Velevra that they're hoping to sway me with more money. It's too late now.
