Patricia Reichardt also known as Peppermint Patty has just stepped out onto the SMJHL ice for the first time. She signed as a free agent and specifically chose the Carolina Kraken. The reason? She liked the logos and the colors. She doesn’t know a single thing about the team, her teammates or it’s history but boy does she look good in orange, white and black. Peppermint Patty doesn’t really know much about hockey stats. She just enjoys going out and having a good time. She’s already scored a goal and had a couple assists which she’s proud of. She can’t wait to go out and contribute even more to this team. She hopes to get even better on the offensive side of the ball, but she isn’t really sure how to do that necessarily. She’s just been a kid who played on the ice with the other kids in her hometown but this is her first experience as an actual professional hockey player. She has a lot of learning to do.
