Ace Dickenson here, writing for the Simulation Junior Hockey Network. We're back again with this week's Three Stars of the Week. We are well past the halfway point in the season, but things are far from winding down. Players all throughout the league are playing their hearts out and we've definitely seen some wonderful stuff out there on the ice. Let's take a look at who our top players for the week were as we start to close in on the final stretch for the race for the Cup.1st Star of the Week - Mega Tron (St. Louis Scarecrows) Coming in hot as the First Star of this past week is the fabulous left winger for the Scarecrows, Mega Tron. We've been eyeing this player for a long time waiting to see when they'd finally break through, and boy did they break through! With a shot just as dangerous as anyone's this season, Mega Tron buried ten shots in just twelve games this past week. Mega Tron has been working very hard this season and the work is finally paying off. Not only did he score ten goals, he also assisted six other Scarecrows in scoring netting him a total of sixteen points this week. The hard work, leadership, and offensive abilities of this future SHL star are why we believe Mega Tron deserves the spot of First Star of the Week for week three. 2nd Star of the Week - Kaarlo Kekkonen (Detroit Falcons) We don't know what set this guy off, but we want to see more of it. Kekkonen has been having an astounding season so far with the dominant Detroit Falcons, but has often been overshadowed by other members of the team. Not this past week, though. Kekkonen lit up the ice with ten assists and six goals, better than anyone else on Detroit this past week. It's hard to say what may have caused this Detroit left winger to go berserk this week, but I dare say we want more of it. Kaarlo Kekkonen is another one of our must-watch players and his outstanding performance this past week is why we decided to award him the 2nd Star of the Week for week three. 3rd Star of the Week - Ethan Price (Anaheim Outlaws) The boys in Anaheim have been putting a lot of work in lately and it really shows. Leading the pack is left winger Ethan Price with an impressive eight goals in the past eleven games. But this talented young player's strengths don't just lie in scoring goals, Price also tallied up eight Assists during those eleven games, as well. sixteen points in eleven games is nothing to scoff at, which is why our panel of esteemed sports analysts ranked him as the Third Star of the Week. We at the SJHN are hoping to see a lot more out of this kid in the future, cause he's certainly got the potential.
