The second round starts now. The creativity showcased in the first round was incredibly impressive. There were a number of close races, 3 of which were within 8 votes at the time of the cut-off. Some great signatures were knocked out on account of unfavorable matchups, but the contributors can take solace in that their submissions are eligible to be submitted for grading.
Because of the impressive turnout, the tournament's prize pool has expanded as follows:
First prize: $15,000,000
Second prize: $10,000,000
Third prize: $5,000,000
For those joining late, the assets were assembled by the amateurs, modified and elaborated upon by the pros. In the "amateur contributions" segment of each post, the final version of the amateur's contribution is shared. Many just submitted a modified render, but others continued to work on their signatures to offer an idea of what they had in mind.
You will be voting on the finished professional signature below. The amateur contribution will be displayed below the finished product, as a point of reference. Links will be provided to the second matchups (four 1v1’s).
Voting will stay open for roughly 24 hours per round, meaning that if things go smoothly, we will have our winners announced by this coming Sunday.
