Thoughts:
I’ve been working on being a grinder and have seen a lot of success using my speed on executing the Dump & Chase, sometimes even doing off of my own dump-ins.  This is how I was able to finally get my first assist of the Preseason.

Thoughts:
There was a lot of hustle shown in this game.  This generated two great scoring chances that were a result of dump-ins, but were both denied by Leo Bloomfield.  I also put my body in the line of fire and blocked a shot from Rikard Bjerg and was able to get to the puck to get it out of our defensive zone.

Final Thoughts:
Even with only an average of just south of 19 Shifts per game, leading to an average of 13:30 seconds on the ice each game.  I’ve been able to make the most of them, coming out of the Preseason with a total of 4 Points.  I took my fair share of shots that were on target, averaging 2 Shots on Goal per game.  I’ve finally got the nerves in check and I’ve been more careful with the puck, as I haven’t had a Give Away in the last 4 games of the Preseason.  Overall, as the Grades show, I feel like I played pretty well on both sides of the puck, but definitely have room for improvement in the regular season.
