Holy shit, what? Do you even know what the daily show is? Scratch that, do you even know what late night television is? This is a ridiculous statement on its own as Trevor Noah explaining social contract theory isn’t finding a solution to racism, or whatever your ridiculous analogy is supposed to mean.

The even dumber part is you somehow found a way to gloss over the fact that relating these things to the common person is literally his job! That’s every late night host’s job! They don’t hire comedians to do these shows because they make haha funny with their mouths, it’s because comedians know how to speak about these issues in a way that they can be related to, thought about, learned from.

Do you think stand-up is making fart jokes and talking about big penis cum? You’d be hard-pressed to find stand-up comedy that doesn’t touch on politics on some level, because that’s what people can universally laugh at if the joke is funny enough. I’m sure it exists, but it’s rare. To say comedians shouldn’t explain these things at all is bonkers, much less a talk show host. Who should explain it then? Bob the UNM sociologist that no one has heard of with 1000 Twitter followers, or a person with a team of researchers, writers, fact-checkers, and also the testimony of Bob the UNM sociologist?

And that’s not even discussing the insanity of your sentence right before that, where you go “I don’t know what this thing is because understanding what I’m arguing against is for virgins, but if it’s being used to argue against me, it’s probably bad.”

Thank god you support BLM though

@Carbine must be a political philosopher by trade to have the authority to make such a comment.

Take a look through my post above and tell me afterwards if you still believe this is even a little bit true.
I've seen it in my own city with my own two eyes. I know it's true. And there are also some examples of cops being attacked but not even responding.

He said that police only responding when attacked wasn't true at all. I said there is truth to it. How does that make me racist? In the post earlier I even said that there ARE some bad cops, but they don't define everyone. How does that make me racist?

Somehow don't think you went through that entire twitter thread I linked of over 150+ examples of police violence on protesters in a few minutes, perhaps give it a try and learn open yourself up to a new perspective today. That's all any of us can really do

I'm genuinely happy you've seen examples of good cops. There are good cops. No one is arguing this. It is absolute fact that police are commiting acts of violence on protesters and if you're not disgusted by that, you need to reflect on that fact.

Maybe you and carbine should stop using your big hands to stroke each other's... Egos... So much.

In DC, peaceful protesters (including an Australian News team) were attacked by police to clear room for Your God Emporer to go in and have a photo op.

In NYC, cops drove their suv's through a barricade to run over protesters.

There's videos to multiple cop cars driving down a road, then one just randomly spraying pepper spray at peaceful protesters.

But yeah, keep getting your news from OAN because YGE says they're yuge and have the best folks.

Here’s the thing, we can go back and forth all day on rioting a looting being okay, but the fact of the matter is that the rioting and looting is so far from the point its absurd.

Black Americans, hell black people as a whole in the western world face discrimination and racism from an authority that was literally built to keep them in check and have been fighting to be seen as equals to their fellow man since the Civil War. These are a group of people right now that DO NOT have the time for peaceful protest and a belief in their government. MLK Jr said that, “a riot is the language of the unheard”, and to look at this situation as anything other than that is delusional at best, anti-black at worst.

If an INNOCENT, UNARMED black man is choked to death on live video for 8 minutes while he begs for his mother and his life, and you choose to focus on businesses and property damage as the REAL tragedies, my friend you have some absolutely serious soul searching today if your heart is that ass backwards that the burning of a target means more than the literal life of an innocent human being.

You obviously don't know the difference between a theory and an hypothesis.

You know what else is a theory? Gravity. I don't see you flying around because you "dOn'T bElIeVe iN iT". A theory is made when an hypothesis (hypothetical statement) has been confirmed multiple times, by many people with as many different data sets.

Or if you want the Merriam-Webster short version :
Quote:In scientific reasoning, a hypothesis is an assumption made before any research has been completed for the sake of testing. A theory on the other hand is a principle set to explain phenomena already supported by data. Theories will pull together experimental results to provide full explanations such as "The Big Bang Theory." Outside of scientific reasoning, "theory" and "hypothesis" are often used interchangeably, and "theory' can unfortunately be interpreted to mean "less sound" or "lightly speculated."

And there's even the longer version!

Also, nice try just circling around @DELIRIVM's comment, which completely invalidated what you just said
Do you want to make an argument against anything I said, or are you going to stick to semantics? Also,
