Jax Aittokallio -  Finland

Aittokallio has been the standout of the season so far putting up sixteen points and five goals for Team Finland in the tournament so far. This is particularly impressive because Finland has only played seven games in the tournament at this point.  Aittokallio leads the tournament in points and is tied for the lead in assist with eleven so far. He also has an insane twenty-seven percent shooting percentage which is bound to drop at some point because it's completely unsustainable. Strangely enough, in terms of Game Rating, he's been better defensively then offensive with a  91 defensive game rating compared to only a 71 offensive game rating.

Daniel Smeb -  Japan

Smeb is a really interesting player.  Of the top five players in points, He's one of two Japanese centers in the top five and the second of three centers in the top three.  Smeb is second in the tournament with fourteen points, three goals, and eleven assists, tied for first place with Aittokallio in assists.

Michael Scarn -  Czechia  Scarn stands out for one reason really and that's the hits he's delivered in the tournament so far. He's got 41 hits, ten more than second place. He's really adding a lot of needed grit and grind to a second-place Czech team who look to make a deep run in the tournament.

Dick Clapper -  Canada  Clapper has had quite an interesting tournament so far. He has posted sixty-three shots on goal through nine games, twenty-three more shots then second place Luke Thomason. That sounds fantastic at first until you notice that Clapper only has two goals as he's shooting a woeful three percent so far this tournament. Clapper's shooting woes haven't hurt Team Canada though as they remain undefeated through the tournament so far and sit comfortably in first place in their group with 22 points so far.
Mike Hroch -  Latvia  Poor Mike Hroch has had a wild tournament so far. He's got a decent .911  save percentage, the only problem is he also has a 5.01 goals-against average as well. He's saved 358 out of 393 shots he's faced so far this tournament. The 393 shots he's face are 90 shots more than second-place Samat Beibitzhanov of  Team Russia. Latvia is the only winless team in the tournament and have allowed 35 goals in so far, seven more than Team Canada and Team Finland who are tied for second place with 28 goals a piece. It's interesting to note that while Team Canada has given up 28 goals, they're seven and zero while Team Finland is two and three.

Aleister Cain - Usa Cain has definitely been the standout goalie of the tournament so far with  a 1.36 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage. Of course given Team USA's dominance throughout the tournament so far, it's hard to say how much of Cain's fantastic performance is due to his skills and how much of it is due to the fantastic team in front of him. For instance, Cain has only faced 146 shots so far, the lowest number for any starting goalie in the tournament.

Hercules Rockefeller  Ireland , Anthony Archer Switzerland , Brennan Kennedy Jr. Austria - I'm shouting these three out because they're all tied for first place in fights won with one fight win so far. Fights are pretty uncommon in international hockey so it's impressive that these three were both willing to drop the gloves and talented enough to secure the victory in fisticuffs with their national rivals. I'm also going to mention Nick Brain in this section because not just did Brain get his butt whopped while wearing his national jersey, he did it while the tournament was being held in his home country.

That has got to be super embarrassing for him.

Chico Smeb - Japan  Shout to Chico Smeb as well whose 27:5 minutes of ice time is by far the most ice team any player has season so far in this tournament
