Jonathan Granström is a player that relies on his strenght in the physical side. Never backing down from a situation with his bravery and excellent physique he turns most situations around to one where he can win the puck back and pass it along to a better shot. Granström wants to be the backbone of the team he is on, supporting his fellow teammates and standing up for them on the ice. He might not be a player with a lot of flair, but he is good at what he does.

What do you do?

Your team is down by two goals in the last frame of play. Your troops have been consistently shut down in the neutral zone and barred from entering the offensive zone since puck drop. What do you do? Do you send in your fastest, most agile players? Do you tell your forwards to press through by sheer will? No. You get Rob Wright in on a zamboni. You give him a stick, some skates, and the puck if you can, and he will drive the play into the offensive zone.

The zamboni will do most of the work, but Wright's strength in Strength will give you possession in the offensive zone.

From there, it's a simple matter of letting him park his little butt in front of the net. Sooner or later, your D-men will get frustrated with trying to find the open pass and they'll fire it at the net. The goalie has been blinded by the butt for twenty seconds now. It goes in.

Send in Rob Wright. Send in the clowns.

Matty Sandeen's biggest strength is certainly his puck handling ability. He is a right shot play-making defenceman who is a solid skater with well rounded offensive skillset. He has a good accurate shot, is a good passer, and his puck handling allows him to make players other players simply cannot.

Sean Gatez is a hard shooting, hard skating defenseman that looks to position himself at the line to fire one off through bodies and get the puck on net. His conditioning is top notch letting him stay on the ice for some quality minutes. He might not be the fastest player on the ice, but in short bursts he gets to the puck quickly and or lay a hit on someone trying to get there.

The biggest strength that Bořek Podlezl has is playing defense. This is obvious because he is a defenseman but holy shit he is good at what he does. He shuts people down and makes the game harder to play and I feel sorry for people who have to try and play against him. Anyone not on his team needs to watch out.

Being one of the many defenders in the upcoming S56 SMJHL Farley Hank sets himself apart from many others as his main proficiencies lie mostly in his excellent shooting form. As long as he could remember playing Hockey, Hank has always strived shooting from the point, and though Hank is still far from an defensive hindrance, he still has some work to go with his defensive capabilities.

Noah Johns III is the 3rd generation in the Johns quest to the SHL. His main strength is his shooting following his dad who played 4 seasons in SMJHL. Noah is a Right Wing Sniper with crazy speed. If Noah gets developed properly Noah could have a very dangerous shot. He can also shoot his shot from quite some ways away and the shot will still be accurate for being a rookie. Noah's shot may be one of the best in the draft. If not THE best shot! At least out of right wings.

Jon St. Ark has the luxury of being one of the few goalies in an otherwise crowded class, but that's not going to cause him to relax. The goalie position in the SHL is competitive to say the least, and f he wants to find the ice early in his career he's going to have to work for it. From a skills perspective, he's bringing some interesting tools to the party. His glove and blocker are solid, even above average, but he really shines when it comes to rebound control. Teams in the SMJHL are going to find second chances difficult with this prospect. Look for teams to try for the one-timer and test this goalie, because otherwise it may be difficult to hammer it home.

Alfa is a unique defenceman harnessing the offensive prowess of his late father and perfectly blending it with his shutdown defensive skills. His vision on the ice is like no other causing him to be the main play maker on the ice. His skating is effortless. Most importantly, his play style makes playing the game easier for everyone on the ice.

Vlastislav Malik is a left-wing power-forward eager to ply his trade in the SMJHL. He's known for his excellent work ethic, spending several hours in the gym, building up the stamina to play in any and all situations. He's been known to throw his weight around and makes his net-front presence felt on a nightly basis. His shot and defensive acumen is a work in progress, keep an eye out for key development in those areas as he gains SMJHL game experience!

Vincent Mietitore's main strengths would be his leadership and determination for winning. Coming in/out of the locker room, Mietitore is always the first one out and last one in leading the team onto the ice and making sure there isn't a man left behind on the way back inside. When it comes to his determination to winning? Let me tell you, losing is absolutely unacceptable and is never tolerated.

Michael Scotch is an offensive defensemen at heart.  He knows exactly where to be in the offensive zone and can be a great asset to a team's offense.  As he was getting noticed by SMJHL scouts Michael Scotch started to work heavily on his defensive game as well and started to become more well rounded.  He is no slouch either when it comes down to speed and agility.  He is always one of the hardest working players on the ice for any team he has played for.  When needed he can always quarterback a power play effectively.

Victor Federov is a young man with many talents and he has weaknesses as well. But the top strengths he has is the ability to be able to look at the opposing team’s line up sheet and to quickly look at the other team’s top players and to be able to be confidently say that he will in fact give on hundred and ten percent to put his best defensive effort on them to help his team win.

Anna Pontecorvo is an insanely speedy forward. The sort of player that when you sit and watch her in the stands and she gets on a breakaway, you can hear the "oh my god.." from others in the crowd. She finds the open spaces, and when she does, whoa. Straight on those skates and she's open behind the defenders, in the blink of an eye. She's got hands and finishing as well, so it's not like she just gets free and nothing comes of it either, no, here you've got a breakaway artist at the start of a hopefully magnificent career.
