Before we award the Stevens, I would like to congratulate Aaron Wilson on winning the Sergei Karpotsov award for most points. He scored 75 points this season! Congrats @aaronwilson

The Scott Stevens award is given each season to the league's best defensemen. Last season we saw Chicago's hard-nosed defensemen Parker Smeb take home the award after a dominating season on both ends of the ice. This year's nominees are:

Karlstrasse Scholz is out first nomination fresh off of a Biscuit loss earlier in the evening. Scholz put up over a point per game this season finishing with 12 goals and 54 points for the Blizzard.

Parker Smeb is back fresh off his win last season. Smeb came in again with his great, tough play putting up 256 hits to go along with 42 points for Chicago.

Last this season is Poopity Scoop of the Buffalo Stampede. Winner of the S53 Stevens award, Scoop was the top defender on a dynamite Buffalo defensive core putting up 40 points, 115 hits and good advanced numbers.

No one tell Selich that he might get offended.

The Lance Uppercut award is given to the league's best general managers. Sometimes this can mean the team who made the biggest splash and sometimes the award can be a reward for consistency. This season is a bit of both. Last year saw Buffalo's WannabeFinn and Tomen taking home the award. The nominees are:

Buffalo is back with another nominee. WannabeFinn and Tomen are pillars of consistency in the SHL. Buffalo remains good each and every season and looks to only be getting better. Sometimes its hard to argue with the team that won't go away.

Edmonton is our second nominee. Keygan and TommySalami made huge splashes in both free agency and by trade during the off-season that almost grabbed them a President's trophy win. Trading for Theo Morgan, Jon Toner and Hiro Fujikawa from Los Angeles bolstered both a great offence and defence plus signing Richan winner Bo Kane was huge.

Manhattan finishes off our nominees. Much like Edmonton, Manhattan found success via the trade wire this season. They pulled in 2000k TPE forward Ola Wagstrom while also bringing in defender Geoff Moore to allow them to make a run at first in the East.

Next is the Damian Littleton award. The Littleton is awarded to the most dedicated member in the SHL. This can mean anything from media, to job excellence to just forum upgrades. It's a acknowledge of the time you've put into the site. Last season Kalakar took home the award. Your nominees are:

JR95. JR was nominated in his final season as a simmer as a thank you for the work he has done over the years. The committee felt he deserved some recognition for all his hard work.

Luketd is the perennial bridesmaid for this award. Luke is the SHL history buff always working tirelessly to improve all aspects of the history sections while contributing heavily to the SHN.

Nour is our esteemed co-commish and GM of the Detroit Falcons. The commish job is a thankless one and Nour always gives his full effort to help keep moving SHL forward.

And last is Carpy48. Carpy did a wonderful job the past few months re-creating forum and team buttons to make the site more visually pleasing.

The Sarmad Khan award is given to the MVP as voted by the SHL players. This year three players got some major love from the players.

In third place we have Daniel Smeb of the Chicago Syndicate who had 41 votes.

In second place we have Aaron Wilson of the Hamilton Steelhawks who had 51 votes.

And the winner with 72 votes is Monkey D Luffy with 72 votes. Congrats @TnlAstatine on the nod!

Next will be the Anton Razov!
