The Bravery skill is very important in real life outside of hockey. Sometimes on the ice I can turn into a fearless warrior and feel so comfortable and confident doing anything needed to get what I want for my team and I. Outside of the rink sometimes it's harder to turn the Bravery on when needed. The years of time on the ice has made it feel like a 2nd home so it's easier to feel brave at home. When on the streets and in a tough situation it can be hard to call on that bravery. My looking at some game tape and seeing how Brave I can be on the ice it helps me have more confidence outside the rink. I see that I can be Brave when I just turn my brain off and act instead of thinking. Being brave in life can help lead to all sorts of growth because I am not as fearful of failure as before it allows me to try many new things. As well I can push myself to my limits and fail to keep getting better without being scared. Bravery is something most are born with but get taught out of them...time to relearn what I always knew. No fear!
