Good evening, SMJHL community.

It has come to the attention of the SMJHL HO that the Newfoundland Berserkers have played with an illegal roster, by utilizing four perimeter shooter forward roles. This is in violation of Rule 2.b.ii:

Code:
2.b.ii: A maximum of three (3) players per any role (not listed above) across the lineup. This does allow for multiple players of the same role on the same line, but the entire roster will be capped at 3.

Per the recent KEL decision, the Newfoundland GMs will be fined half of their S57 GM pay.
