Welcome to a special report from the Knightly News! As this season heads into the playoffs we wanted to give you guys something special. This is going to be a two part review of how the Kelowna rookies have done this season as well as how this compares to the team that just beat us in the standings Anchorage.

So lets dive in!
First we have #A-Rye Izzy. This defenseman has been knocking some serious heads around. As the regular season ends Izzy ended up with 55 hits this season and leads the KEL Rookies in this department. Izzy had some good work throwing pucks at the net as a defenseman as well as passing the puck around with his assists.

Next let's see how Gerry Atrick finished the regular season! Gerry put in some work this season leading the KEL rookies in goals as well as putting in some good numbers for assists. Two of those goals were also game winning goals that definitely helped Kelowna with their great season. Gerry is currently sitting second in points for the KEL Rookies and we look forward to seeing how he performs in the playoffs.

Roboute Guilliman has been putting up some average numbers. While his goals have been missing he has been putting up good numbers in the assist department. Guilliman is currently second in assists for Kelowna. His best asset right now has been his skills in the faceoff dot. He is keeping himself at above 50% in faceoff wins.

Danny C has been doing pretty well for his rookie season. He has been putting up some good assist numbers. We are looking forward to seeing how Danny grows through his future seasons and through these playoffs.

Richard LaFleur has been the all star of the rookies this season. With 10 goals and 20 assists he has been tearing it up on the ice. While we think he should probably try to stay out of the penalty box a bit more we cannot ignore the impact he is having on the ice. His +/- is 25 so when hes on the ice he helps make an impact.

Travis Koncny has been putting up some solid numbers with 7 goals and 7 assists. He has also been doing well when put into the faceoff dot sporting a 50+ faceoff win %. He unfortunately had to skip a few games with health problems but we are excited to see how he does during the playoffs.

Christopher Ford has been doing really well putting up some great numbers with 8 goals and 10 assists. He's got a 15 +/- which has been great to see. He is definitely a rookie teams should not overlook.

Overall the Kelowna rookies have been doing incredible! We are excited to see how they do this playoff run and we can't wait to see these guys grow into great players. We can definitely see these rookies becoming a great core to the Kelowna roster as they continue to grow. We will see you next time on Knightly News as we take a dive into what the rookies look like for Anchorage Armada as they are directly ahead of Kelowna in the standings!

Approved, +5 TPE @Hazack
