My highlight of the season was preseason unfortunately, I was sniping genos all day, top corns, wraparounds, didn't matter, just going to the net and poppin em in the net. I actually didn't pay much attention to my defense because I was scoring so many damn points. I was a machine. Since then, I'm not the goal guy but I have been getting very good D ratings and blocking TONS of shots. I bet I have the most blocks in either league, forward or defense. Don't look though. Overall I don't think since preseason I have a HIGHLIGHT per se, but I'm happy with Ville's defense and hoping during the playoff I can have an epic breakaway backcheck, huge blocked shot on a rebound, or maybe even.. gasp.. a goal?? Only time will tell if I find my scoring touch but I trust the defense, offense, and goalie to play well enough to secure the cup.

Shane Duffy Jrs. first season in the Simulation Major Junior Hockey League has been a serious one to remember for him, filled with lots of various great highlights made all the better thanks to his great team the Quebec City Citadelles. The first highlight overall of Duffys short lived pro career would have to be hearing his name called out in the Season 59 draft. When the Citadelles selected him at the 10th overall spot it came as a great surprise to him and all around him, but he could not have been more ecstatic and from then on vowed to do his absolute best for the team. His second highlight would have to be the first win he got with the team, a thrilling shootout victory, in Anaheim. The third and final highlight for Duffy would probably have to be the first goal he scored for QCC, in their home rink in his eight game, again versus the Outlaws. The only disappointing thing about this highlight for Duffy was that it could not be in front of fans.

Transcript (so I don't get pinged): I don't really think I have an answer for the first question. But I do have an answer for the second. So, who's gonna make the playoffs of the teams that missed it last season? Nashville. Please, Nashville. Oh please, pretty please, Nashville Nashville Nashville. Jesus, what a stupid run of seasons we've had. After making a lot of big moves to become a good team in S21, we've since squandered to appear in the postseason the last 2 seasons. In S22, we won 61 games and finished 2 games out of the postseason. It was a very competitive season but when you have 7 teams with 60+ wins, there are definitely going to be outliers. And last season...well fuck last season. I've spent weeks trying to erase that shit from my brain. It was worse than the time when I walked in on grandma applying pomade to grandpa's thigh hair. Another season outside of the playoffs despite being one of the better teams in the league might actually kill me. Like...that might be the nail in the coffin. I'm not saying it will be, but...don't be surprised if it's not. So my goal is to do everything in my stupid power to make the dumb playoffs. And, hopefully, win a championship. But that's all part of the long line of "ifs" that have to happen.

Big Boss’s highlight reel is buzzin with sick plays. The first thing on his highlight reel is his first goal of the season, which was a snipe from the point off of a great feed by Shane Duffy Jr. He celebrated this in the locker room by playing Can’t Touch This by Macklemore.

The second thing on his highlight reel would be a compilation of his best bench moments. Big Boss leads his team in TOI (Time Off Ice) so naturally he has made some great plays off of the bench, such as the time he arranged everyone’s water bottles perfectly in less than 60 seconds. Another classic is when he went 3-0 in rock, paper, scissors against 3 fans that had seats right behind the bench.

The final thing on his highlight reel is a blocked shot he made to save the game. In a game a few days ago, QCC was leading by 1 with 3 minutes remaining. Big Boss was out there fighting hard to keep his team in the game. An opponent had the puck at the top of the circle and was ready to let one rip, but Big Boss got down and took it straight in the teeth to help his team hold on for the win.

Robot Sunfish entered the SMJHL with the hopes of being the best robotic player to ever play in the elague. And so far, it seems like he managed to get his name known, at least. Through his season, Sunfish gained popularity and generated several highlight worthy momenta both on and off the field.

The first highlight was his very first fight. Sunfish got ibto his first fight less than 10 games into the season, and he won said fight quite resoundingly, as well. That made Sunfish's name known as the Whalers' new enforcer.

The next highlight happened outside of the rink. Because of the popularity he gained from his first fight and his robotic status, Sunfish was featured in several articles. The most notable one was the piece describing the diversity of Whalers locker room, where Sunfish was depicted using a punching bag.

The final highlight was the random hot streak he had towards midseason. On one simulation day in that period, Sunfish managed to score 3 goals in 2 games, whereas he had only 2 in his previous 18. No one expected Sunfish- a low liner and an enforcer to boot- to have such a hot streak, and be the spearhead of offense if for a few games. (210)

1) First one is definitely the draft night. All young players waiting to be drafted. I was drafted nr. 59th but still, could be worst. I was glad to be drafted and im very happy that i was drafted by Armada. Team is fantastic, arena is fantastic and support is massive. Fans is what pushes on to play better every single day.

2) Second reel is meeting Armada coaches, players. It was nice, I felt welcomed since day one. Armada locker room is awsome. You can joke and all that but when game is coming all are serious and thinking about winning.

3) My first official game in SMJHL is up there too. SMJHL is biggest and strongest junior league in the world and to be part of this league is fantastic. Style is different from what I use to experienced in Europe.

4) My first goal in SMJHL. Seasons third game away at Colorado, 07:25 in game and I got my first goal of the season and put Armada 1-0 lead at that time.

On the ice this season, I was able to make some memorable plays but probably the play that stuck out the most was my first goal. I was the first one going in on an ice change and Xavier doom smacked the puck across the ice to me, I was a few feet from the goal then so all I had to do was smack it in. This will always stick out to me because it was my first goal. The second play on my highlight reel was from a few weeks ago when Hunter was able to give me a nice no luck pass which I slapped out to Scooby-Doo for the game-winning goal. The goalie had no clue where the puck was the whole time and it was the only game-winning goal I was apart of this season. The final play on my highlight reel might not seem like much of a highlight but to me it was. It was the first time I touched the ice during the preseason and I was able to sneak in a goal on a nice pass from Adrian Ayers. The reason I consider this play a highlight is it was the play I got the Captain (Xavier Doom's) approval.

First highlight of Angus McFife the eighteenth was draft day. The 3rd generation player, undraft on his second stint as he registered late, had no idea where he would be picked and also where he would play. He expected to go after some big recreate names and around 225 ish position due to his low TPE count. The Colorado Raptors went all in at rank 7 to draft the Gardian of Dundee. What followed is the integration to a very social core of players with many of the same affinities.

Another highlight of my season are the live stream. I participate in most of them and get to share with other players notably from Maine and from Quebec City Citadelles. These teams also have good goal horns which facilitates the socialisation aspect unlike the irritating KElowna Knight horn which makes me want to shut down the stream. Sometimes I score gols by the real fun is when my rookie colleagues get the goals (bonus if I get an assist!). Rookies share a special something as we all want to improve and knowing how hard it is to make our place during the first year these goal all have something special.

My third highligh of the season is ploting against the league in a secret french player discord but none would believe you if you were to tell HO.

Three things from the season so far that are highlight reel worthy are in no particular order from awesomest to rad.

The initial get to know everyone Dunkins party in the Outlaws locker room. The debate over the best donuts since Dunkins doesn't make them anymore apparently had to be debated by eating as many donuts as possible and contrasting and comparing them. The Strawberry cream coated was the winner by narrow victory.

Sekai Wollker being invited to the SMJHL All-Star game in Denver was just awesome. As a rookie it wasn't expected but got to have a fun ass weekend with a couple great teammates. Definitely memorable and a truly great honour.

Another highlight reel has actually been being a member of the Anaheim Outlaws in general. Great managers, great teammates and really just an entertaining time. We all know we're in build mode and the dedication of everyone to look to the future has been a fantastic journey. Cheers to everyone involved.

Janne Virtanen has had pretty rough first season defensivly in smjhl with +/- over -40. But whole season have not been disaster. There have been also many highlights. First highlight is that he got drafted by Mainer Timber. Some people might think why would it be highlight to be drafted by rebuilding team, but the thing is Janne is averaging over 22 minutes on ice per game. That is lot for 1st season rookie. Janne loves that his coach trusts him and gives him lots of opportunities to show his talent and potential. 2nd highlight is his first home game. Playing home game with full arena all cheering for you feels always really special. 3rd highlight must be his first goal. It is always really special feel when you score your first goal and your teammate goes pick up the puck. His first goal was eyes closed and hope for best shot from blueline.

My rookie season in the SMJHL has been a mixture of both the good and the bad, to be honest. Individually, I think I have performed a little below where I wanted to be at the beginning of the season, the same could be said for the Whalers as a whole. Regardless, there are a few things that I would consider to be 'highlights'.

The first goal is always a highlight in a player's career, so obviously, my first highlight would be when I tapped in a rebound against Carolina. My first and only goal of the season and my career (thus far).

Second I would say passing 10 assists in my first season is also highlight-worthy considering the fact that I've played 4th shift right defense for the whalers. Also, I've been trying to build my player around solid defensive ability and above-average playmaking ability so this was good evidence that things are working (at least partially) as intended.

My third highlight has to be playing my first game. I joined the league slightly late this season and I was honestly just excited to get playing and I'm very grateful to the Whalers for being so welcoming and always having a good time despite the somewhat disappointing season.

Ultimately I'm optimistic about the future for both my player and in Vancouver and I think despite the disappointments there is evidence we are heading in the right direction.

Eero Makela is never going to put up big offensive numbers, but the rookie blueliner has been making an impact in a very literal sense.

Highlight 1 - The Hit Parade
He's big, he's strong, and he don't take no shit from nobody. Makela is one of the fiercest hitters in the SMJHL, quite an accomplishment for a rookie, and only looks to be growing more fierce as the season wearers on.

Highlight 2 - First Goal
Everybody remembers their first goal, and for a guy who might only get one a season, the memory burns extra brightly. In typical defenseman fashion, a slapshot from the point got Makela on the board earlier this season.

Highlight 3 - Locker Room Presence
From day one with the Battleborn, Makela has been using the locker room not only as a place to get ready for games, but as a place to bond with teammates. The group has only grown tighter as the season has progressed.
