With the ascension of Anaheim Outlaw great “Long” John Donair into the SHL for the 59th Season, the team has a captaincy position to fill. John Donair has been an active member of the Outlaws for many seasons now and he leaves big skates to fill to say the least. May the rest of the team and the coaching staff take this moment to wish him luck in the Big Show. He will do us proud in whatever the future holds and his presence will be missed definitely, both in the locker room and the ice surface. Cheers man and thanks for all the leadership and mentorship over the years! With the departure of John Donair, the members of Anaheim have decisively picked long-time Outlaw: Kaapo Kampainen as the new captain of the team!
Well deserved as this beast of a centerman led the team in points last season with 11 goals and 24 assists. A quiet trooper who just gets better every season and this year with a much improved support crew, he will prove to the rest of the league what a star he really is. The work he does behind the scenes does not go unnoticed either. He is the stats master for the Outlaws and his input goes beyond appreciation for all the work he does, the best choice that could have made. No question. Captain, my Captain: Kaapo Kampainen!
As a newcomer to the captaincy squad, the Anaheim Outlaws have chosen junior phenom: Ryuuji Kawashima as the newest Assistant Captain!
Coming off a fantastic rookie year where he wracked up 9 goals and 18 assists on a young, inexperienced team, this future Hall-of-Famer was clearly chosen for his pure dedication to the team and his faith in their potential greatness in the future. He keeps the team challenged by being a leader and encouraging other to keep pace with him as he pushes for a Four-Star Cup for the Outlaws. The youngsters will look up to this superstar as a means to achieving what they are all capable of. He will wear the “A” with pride and confidence. And finally as a returning member to the Captaincy trio, the Outlaws have chosen scrub spectacular: Sekai Wollker to wear the Assistant to the Regional Captain badge on their jersey once again.
A complete waste of a draft pick for the Anaheim Outlaws in season 58, this chump barely even showed up to play last year scoring only 12 goals and getting a dismal 16 assists in a weak rookie season. Never mind the jokingly pathetic 142 shots on goal. For a defenseman who is not offensively minded... what a shit! A bust in the locker room as well as this player contributes basically nothing to the day-to-day running or amusement of the team. The only reason this ass. is getting any recognition is that they refused to take the “A” off their jersey from last season. Oh well. We shall see if Wollker can actually get any points production at all this season and stop being such a douche canoe in the locker room. And so, the leadership crew of the Anaheim Outlaws has been decided as they approach what is hoped to be a drastic improvement on last year. The addition of some very strong rookies to the line-up and a returning stud goalie who will be rewarded for the defensive improvement will show this team as barely recognizable from last season. The rookies have trained up, the veterans are ready and here’s to a fantastic season for the Outlaws! PEW PEW!
Also Ace and Zomp are awesome and I am not writing this under threat of trade if I don't clearly state that they are.....
