Podan does not like branding due to the rural life of his Plsen farm growing up. Only cows and sheep were branded, and it looked incredibly painful. No branding could rip him from his home, unless he was branded by another rancher who stole him and secretly branded him.

Well I might not be the only one here or maybe I am for how boring my answer will be. But if there is one rebranding that will take me away from the Edmonton Blizzard, it would have to be with an SHL team expanding or relocating back to my home roots the Montreal Canadiens!

Well my answer isn't for a new location, and I know there will probably be some hate around this but I would bring a team back to West Kendall. West Kendall was the first team I was every drafted too, despite never winning the challenge cup, we built a strong team both on the ice and the users around the team. Bringing the team back to West Kendall would also bring @.bojo back into the reigns, to bring the cup home.

Alright let's see. Fred has been in Detroit in the SMJHL, and in the SHL he's been in Tampa and Seattle. I'm thinking the most likely spot that could draw Fred away now (not that it takes much, apparently) would be Mexico City. Think about it. The Mexico City Golden Eagles. Golden Eagles because of the Mexican coat of arms that depicts the founding of Tenochtitlan (later Mexico city) where the eagle was eating a snake. Or something like that, I know only a little about Aztec legends.

The only way Esa Parmborg would ever leave Calgary is if a team in Italy was created in the city of 'Parma' and they were called the 'Parma Chicken Parms' I think it goes without saying I would happily become a franchise player for this team and maybe even come out of retirement to be GM again.

Evgeni Petrov is quite happy to be back in Newfoundland, is cold like Russia is and reminds him of wolf family back home. Atlanta is very different, very warm and doesn’t really remind him of wolf family but of new human family that help Evgeni adapt to this weird country. But if team were to be added to area near Evgeni homeland, Evgeni would want to go in heartbeat. Team back in Mother Russia would be amazing, invite wolf family to every game! Great fun! I can't think of much that would pry me away from the San Francisco Pride. However, I've always been a fan of expansion teams in non-realistic places (because this is fake and we shouldn't care so much about realism) so if a team popped up on the moon or another nearby planet, I would be all over that.

If they came up with a Victoria expansion team (BC, Canada) that would be super interesting to play for as it's a city I loved to live in previously.

I would full send on a team based out of Germany. They are a pretty dedicated hockey base and deserve representation. There is a ton of homegrown talent to draw in the fans too. Get us off the continent!

Finn von Murphenstein wouldn't want to leave either of his teams (but he will probably have to leave one of them anyways when he gets called up unless rules change in a very weird way about call-ups). But if he would leave Tampa Bay it would probably be for a czech team. And his favorite place in Czechia (that is what they are called these days, I looked it up, I know it is very weird) is the town of Velké Popovice. Not because it is a particularly beautiful town. It is not ugly, don't get me wrong, but there is nothing super special about it except one thing: The beer. One of Finn's favorite brews stems from Velké Popovice, the world famous Velkopopovický Kozel, an amazing run of the mill beer. And if you had a team there, of course you would name it after the beer. The Kozel is nothing weird, it is the czech word for goat, which makes sense.

I'm a Chicago boy and there's already an SHL squad in Chicago, so I have to think outside the box. I think my choice would probably be the largest USA/Canadian city that has never won a Championship in any major sport. Too lazy to do the digging on that one to figure out what it would be.

I have no plan of leaving the Edmonton Blizzard. With the best branding, active LR, and a decent cup chance for the last 13+ seasons, something would really have to wrong for me to entertain a different franchise.
That being said, if there was a Washington Capitals, i would have to think about it. Not a mid-atlantic patriot themed team represented with an eagle, but the actual Washington Capitals branding. I don't think that would be good for the league though. To me an appealing franchise has a good location with actual hockey interest (no Mexico), sells the realism of the league (not overseas), and celebrates the area. Some candidates: Pennsylvania Keystones (keystone state is PA and is a strong visual feature in the state's branding visually and historically), Indiana Crossbucks /Engineers (or Hog Heads or Highballs) (celebrates the state's history as the train hub that grew USA & Canada. Lots of Fench roots so a quebecoise word could be welcome as well), Richmond Lockwheels / Leggers (terms used on the old canals that helped form the city before and after it was razed by the South). And a fun one (to laugh at, not fun in real life): The Sandusky Predators (set in ohio, with a handsy looking big cat mascot). ... If something happened and Edmonton was disbanded, i might consider Atlanta. I'd like to get a few shifts with hotdog before we retire, and I could see s47 spending their twilight years un buckhead. also, their branding is coooooool? Also: I put this together for Jumpier Pegasus (no sense in tagging him/her twice).
