Walton Stromberg had noticed that someone has been using his credit cards. He noticed it as there were some mysterious payment details on his banking history and there weren't any clues on who had received the payments. The amounts weren't that big, so he decided to just keep an eye on it and hopefully get some clues later. And bingo, one day he got an SMS saying that one of the mysterious packages, that Walton definitely hadn't ordered, was available for pickup at a nearby post office. Luckily for Walton, there was a tracking page that showed the status of the delivery, so he would instantly see when the package is marked as picked up. Walton decided to go there, hide and wait until that happens and he sees who's picking it up.
He spent a full day hiding at the post office parking lot, when he finally got the notification. He immediately looked at the door, and who comes out with the mystery package. It's an old lady dressed up as Walton. And not just a random old lady, it's Walton's mother. It turned out that she had been fooled into some kind of homeopathic health product scheme and was too afraid to tell anyone about it. So she thought that the best way to go for it would be to use Walton's identity and trust that he doesn't bother checking his banking history. Walton arranged an intervention, and his mother eventually stopped using the scam products. |
