What I really like about the SHL are the people involved. Getting started can be a bit daunting, but there are lots of people who are willing to help you out and get you started. They also frequently remind you about ways to earn a few more TPE or fake $$$. What I don't like about the SHL is the "grading" system. To me it sounds way to subjective. Also, I like posting mixed media stuff, text and supporting graphics. I can only get credit for the text.....

Index index index. Anyone who took part in creating this beautiful thing and anyone who contributes to it going forward are heroes. It's truly amazing.

I wish the contract system/salary cap system was revamped as well as adding team owners.

I don't think fantasy should give tpe. Just cash. Gives an unfair advantage to users and I don't think fantasy should be used for that purpose.

Never change the activity check. I love free TPE which is why I’m responding to this prompt. Also I love tagging both my teams in there and seeing my homies do the same.

Something I would absolutely not change is the site itself. I know the dev team works real hard to make this site all it is and keep it running smoothly, great job done there.

Something I probably would change is updating. I kinda wish I knew my hard deadline for updates every week instead of wondering if I'm gonna be updated on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

That new index is better and better after every updates, congrats to the team building it!
One thing that need to change, can you stop moving Minny into a division with beast teams? First when moving from west to the east and getting in division with CGY/WIN/EDM, and now that CGY and EDM are finally on the decline, we get TEZ and CHI instead! Oh, and make it easier to see who is in wich IIFH team?

I know it is easier said than done, but making money is hard, wish it was easier. Media feels like a chore, GFX my small brain cant do. But I love that people are able to post their media and GFX because some of you are extremely creative and talented and its nice to see on display.

There are so many things that are great about this site, it's tough to really pick one. As someone who has been here a long time, one of the most astonishing things for me is how much better, more effective, trustworthy and hard-working our league leadership has become, so thanks a ton to everyone involved there!

The thing that still bugs me the most at the moment is the lack of parity. Things have gotten a bit better recently and we have taken a lot of steps already which we should see play out over the next few season first before taking additional measures, but we still aren't where we need to be and it is starting to look increasingly unlikely that we will ever get there, as FHM seems to already reward relatively small differences in team or tactical quality with a quite significant edge in sim results.

I'm a big fan of being able to make money with graphics rather than writing media. Shout out to the graphics team and all the work they do for folks like me.

The index is obviously absolutely amazing now, the kind of thing you find on professional teams sites. Also, the general camaraderie and welcoming vibe is something I hope the league never looses.

The only thing I’d change in a perfect world is having a hard deadline for updating, so it’s more predictable, as it’s a bit scattershot at times, however this is not a perfect world and even updaters have lives, so it’s totally understandable!

While I don't always love the topics, I would never want the SHL to change their Player Progression to be more like SBA. I disliked their structure so much, and it's one of the major reasons I went inactive there. Money league, not PT league! <3

As for something I would like to see changed, I'll jump ahead a few days and say the SMJHL Head Office expansion process this season has some seriously concerning things within the process itself. The way HO has gone about the process seems short-sighted, flawed, and actively is discouraging people from wanting to do more for the site and community. I believe their over-focus on "experience" is misplaced, and they will regret their decisions and the bad will they are causing. If they never intended to consider people without past GM experience, they should have put that in the posting so not to waste so many good people's time in applying.

Like: the locker rooms of the site are great and always have been
Dislike: it takes so damn long before a player can be a point per game player and by the time he hits that, regression is there. It takes too long to become great and you lose it instantly. Career build up is too long.

Probably the best thing about the site is the bonds you form with your teammates. Discord has really taken this to a new level, the Dragons discord really is like a family, we probably talk more about our life events than the actual league itsself lol.
