My favorite question to ask back when someone claims that he's been snubbed somwhow and that he should've made it into the ASG or got an Awards nom always is: "Over who?"
There are many people who are deserving and you might very well be one of them. But not everyone can make it in given the limited amount of spots so for your case to warrant that kind of criticism, you need to point out someone on the team/ballot who asbolutely shouldn't have made it in compared to you. In my experience those cases are a lot rarer than those were someone would've deserved a nom, but so did half a dozen other people as well.
