7. Going into game 6 of the SMJHL Four Star Cup Finals the Newfoundland Berserkers have a 3 game to 2 lead over the Anchorage Armada. The game starts and Nike Kickz Jr wins the opening faceoff of Game 6 against David S. Pumpkins. Leon Athanasios gets the first shot of the game but Yanno Rosejac is able to make the save. The first half of the first period is very back and forth but, as we hit the 11-minute mark of the first period the Berserkers begin to take a commanding shot lead getting off 8 SOG in just 2 minutes putting tremendous pressure on Anchorage. But it isn't until 14:27 into the first period that Newfoundland is able to take the lead with a goal-scored Robert Black assisted by Billy Brooks, and Slavakov Vladimirashenko. The first period ends with Newfoundland leading Anchorage 1-0. Newfoundland comes out of the intermission with the same energy that they had in the first. By the halfway point of the second, Newfoundland has an astounding 31 to 12 shot lead, but Anchorage goaltender Yanno Rosejac is keeping their team within one. With about 6 minutes remaining in the second Anchorage seems to find their footing and are able to apply some heavy pressure to Newfoundland. But with 3:35 remaining in the second Newfoundland center, Ric Charlesworth wins a defensive zone faceoff back to Jannik Nordstern who passes to defensive partner Sabarro Torretta. Torretta then passes the puck up ice to left-winger Robert E. O. Speedwagon. Speedwagon makes an unbelievable pass to Ric Charlesworth that leads to a breakaway and he puts it in the back of the Anchorage net for a 2-0 lead. The third period is very back and forth neither team is in control till Nike Kickz Jr gets a 2-minute minor penalty for roughing with 6:56 remaining. Anchorage is able to get a few shots off but ultimately the Newfoundland penalty kill is just too strong and is able to kill the penalty. Shortly after the penalty Erik Andrews is able to find the back of the net with assists from Nike Kickz Jr and Shion Okamoto to put Newfoundland up by a score of 3-0. With only a few minutes left on the clock, Newfoundland is able to hold onto the three-goal lead to close out the series in 6 games and take home the Four Star Cup off the back of an amazing performance from Evgeni Petrov stoping 26 out of 26 saves for a cup clinching shutout. The shots end with Newfoundland 43, Anchorage 26. The 3rd star of the game goes to Shion Okamoto, the Second star to Billy Brooks, and the first star goes to Evgeni Petrov. (463 Words)

7) In the Challenge Cup Finals, the Buffalo Stampede played against the Chicago Syndicate. The goalies in net are Elizabeth Doyle for Buffalo and Mat Smith for Chicago. To start, Martijn Westbroek of the Chicago Syndicate won the first faceoff, but Buffalo still got the first shot on goal. The first shot was by Hippo Passamus. The first period's last action was a hit from Monkey D Luffy, and the period ended 0-0 with the shots 12-8 in Buffalo's favour. Buffalo got the first goal, scored by Aron Hernadivic, and that was the only goal in the 2nd, making it 1-0 BUF, with them down 20-18 in shots. At 18:01 left in the 3rd frame, Ryuuji Minamino of the Syndicate tied the score 1-1. The 3rd period ended 1-1, shots tied at 29, and OT on the horizon. In the extra frame, Luffy "slaps one from outside" and scores to get Buffalo to game 7 with the game 6 overtime win.

Task 7 - The SMJHL Draft.  What a blast! Having never been part of one before I was not sure what to expect.  Not to mention this, I was driving! so I could only listen to the audio at first (tuned in later to rewatch part of it) and wow was it fun.  Aitto and Koivu went 1/2 which was great for me, I had guessed them correctly and thought "sweet, I might get some awesome TPE for this mock draft" ... well that ended quickly when the well deserved Jammin got taking 3rd OA.  ANA was up next ... and they were the first team I thought might take a chance on me, but another well deserved selection of McHits went 4OA.  and then absolutely insanity happened.  NL, who I knew was interested in me (I just assumed other's might be taken before me) snagged me at 5.  It was pretty fun to hear my name called and knew I was joining a fantastic squad who had just finished off the previous season with a big 4 star championship.  For me, the draft was capped off perfectly when one of my recruits was also taken by NL with the 47th selection - Alexander Mackenzie. 7. Watched the S61 SMJHL Entry Draft last night. It started with just a few minutes of marbles so try and get the crowd going before the actual draft started at five. After a slight delay in starting and some technical difficulties with the big board and the selection cards that pop up, the first overall was a slight surprise. Jesper Aittokallio was picked first, I was lucky enough to have him on my mock draft, but it seems like not a lot of people did. After that, Paul Koivu got picked second and Ben Jammin third. I wasn't until around the eighth or ninth pick that the big board finally worked, and the stream went more smoothly form there. My favorite part of the stream was definitely when I got picked 33 OA by the most recent champions the Newfoundland Berserkers, this pick was much sooner than excepted and I’m very happy with my new team. Unfortunately after that I had to go cook dinner so I wasn’t able to catch the rest of the stream.

8. Survey Complete - fixing this from my last post

That should be all 8 of them between my two posts

7. I watched the vast majority of the Prospect Showcase, hoping to see my Sand Lions go all the way. We had some great winning streaks, and some depressing losing streaks, but all in all a pretty successful 40-game season. We got matched up against the 2nd place Yetis, who had two absolute powerhouses in net with Dino and Hugh Jass. The series went the distance, but unfortunately, the Yetis took the series 2-1, and went on to win the tournament. But that doesn't mean the showcase wasn't a success. Our boy Jesper Aittokallio went first overall, Mikko Rashford at 5, and Aksel Fiske at 14 to round out the first round. Rebecca Montagne and myself were the first two goalies drafted. Hard to do much better than that as a team in the draft. Overall, I had a great time in the chat watching the showcase, and look forward to watching more sims going forward. Go Grizzlies! Grizzlies

7. Watch an SHL or SMJHL stream on YouTube - I watched the S61 SMJHL Preseason Re-Sim. The Raptors played seven games. Colorado won six of those seven games. The biggest victory was against Saint-Louis. The Raptors beat them 10-0. The team had 3 shutouts in seven games. The only defeat was against Regina, Colorado lost 4-3 but still managed to outshoot them 33-20. A good trend during the preseason is the fact that Colorado was able to outshoot their opponent in all their games. The preseason re-sim proves that Colorado has great goaltending and a good offensive potential. Let’s hope it can translate in the regular season. On a personal level it was a good preseason for my player Shoyo Hinata. As a rookie he was able to get 8 points in 7 games. Hinata had 4 goals and 4 assists. He was playing on the third line with Sanjuro Tsubaki and Manning, but he will play on the fourth line with Tsubaki and Bangsa-Wamy in the regular season.

Graded! There's your final four rookie tasks completed for $5 million including bonus! Congratulations @"FormuleUn"
