The Nevada Battleborn had a very underwhelming season to say the least. But it wasn’t like anyone expected them to have a great season anyways. All rebuilding teams are expected to go through rough waters for at least a couple seasons and the Battleborn are no exception. With that said they have a very bright future ahead of them specifically at the center position. So let’s get into the four (there’s five but one hasn’t updated) players listed as center for the Battleborn.
- S58 Vladlen Sidorov (313 TPE)
Sidorov managed by user diacope is a true center, with a 15 faceoff rating and an emphasis on offensive read, defensive read (both 14). One thing to note is that his physical ratings are much lower than offense and defense (highest being 12). Sidorov gets updates but it is very little as has been just training and activity checks.
- S61 Ahlo Kysoka (266 TPE)
Kysoka managed by user Lazyeye is a well balanced build, with multiple stats at 14, some notables being faceoffs, stamina and defensive read and lowest notable stats being 8s (hitting shooting accuracy and range). The last update for Ahlo came in mid July which isn’t a good sign but the updates were consistent before then so all Nevada can do is hope.
- S61 Patrice Bergeron JR (276 TPE)
Bergeron managed by Fnorespect (ME) is more defensively focused. 14 defensive read and faceoffs. If anything is lacking it is hitting (7) and strength (9). I last updated right before I made this deep dive  I plan on staying active, unlike my last career so hopefully I can help Nevada accelerate their rebuilding process.
- S61 Throat Goat (155 TPE)
Throat Goat managed by user Loco is a defensive specialist, with some points also put into physical ratings. Goat is less of a true center than everyone else (11 faceoff rating) on this list and has been playing winger for the Battleborn this season. It is not looking good for the future of throat goat however as user Loco has not even made a page for the goat with a long neck.
- S61 Pavel Dogsyuk (179 TPE)
Dogsyuk managed by user PavelDogsyuk (LOL) is a VERY balanced player build. Dogsyuk doesn’t have a single stat above a 12 rating or a single stat below a 9 (besides fighting and aggression). Once again not the best faceoff rating (12) but the rating could be worse. Sadly Dogsyuk has only updated once
but you never know maybe they could become active again…
Well, at the beginning I mentioned how promising Nevada’s future at center was but after doing the research to write this it doesn’t look as promising as I made it sound. However, I can say almost for certain that I will stay active and contribute to the future successes of this young center core. Lazyeye is sometimes active in discord and has been updating so I can see them becoming a solid center as well in a few seasons if they keep up the good work. Looking now I don’t see diacope in the team discord, but they have been updating almost every week even if it is just training and acs, but at least that’s still a player getting better every week.
