Eddie Creller's biggest strength is his ability to stand in front of the net and clean up the mess from the abundance of terrible shots in the SMJHL. If there is a loose puck, Creller will make sure it finds the back of the net before the opponents find the strength to move him

Left-hand shooting Russian defensive prospect Vasily Arkhangelsky may well be the physically strongest prospect ever to enter the league. According to official documents, he participated in his first powerlifting competition at the age of just 3. Although he switched his focus to ice hockey at age 5, he can still occasionally be found competing in amateur powerlifting and strongman events during the hockey offseason. He claims to hold a world record in the deadlift for ages 10 and younger, but this could not be verified by any official sports governing body. Any rumor that his muscles and skeleton were reinforced with carbon nanotubes and a secret titanium superalloy at a laboratory hidden deep in the Caucasus as part of an FSB black ops super-soldier project code-named "Scarlet Wing" is scurrilous and emphatically false. Vasily's ultimate career goal is to one day hit a man so hard that his skates and helmet come flying off at the same time.

Cody Sherman © is an exciting prospect, a great passer and puck handler who can also put the puck in the net. His defense is coming along, and he is an unselfish, team first player who looks to set teammates up to score and will block a lot of shots, or even drop the gloves if need be. Those who don't draft him will be making a grave mistake.

Jeff Larsson has the potential to be a solid top-6 winger in the SHL, as a dynamic skater with a solid shot and offensive vision to get open for shooting opportunities or setup beautiful plays, he plays a style that is lacking in the current SMJHL draft class and in the SHL itself. He plays a solid defensive game, but lacks fighting skill, faceoff work, and doesn't like to get his hands very dirty, although he gets braver as days go by. He certainly has got the attention of scouts and GMs in the SMJHL for his unique skillset and is a force to be reckoned with.

While not the fleetest of foot getting to the opponents net. Once there, Ignaz Pleyel becomes a net front menace. Not afraid to take a pounding from the defense to screen the goalie and get a tip or pounce on a rebound. He'll need to work on his skating an defensive side, but if you're looking for someone to cause a disturbance at the opponents goal you don't have to look much farther than Iganz Pleyel.

Dirty Boots is an offensive minded quarterback defenseman from Newfoundland, Canada. His strength lays in his passing skills and offensive hockey IQ. Dirty always manages to find the scorer on the ice and get the puck to them with speed for a rush into the offensive zone.

Similar to a prime Erik Karlsson, you'll see some dirty passes straight through the neutral zone often leading to prime scoring chances. Dirty will look to lead a powerplay group to victory but will also remain defensive minded in his own end.

Finn McNast is a mobile defenseman that prides himself on a steady two-way game built on high-end awareness and skating. He prefers to play a tight gap on defense with an active stick rather than relying on big checks. His focus defensively is to turn play around and spring a rush going the other way. In the offensive zone he prefers to skate with the puck, opening lanes and looking for a pass. He hopes to prove that he can play all situations when the game is on the line.

Christian Kinsinger's strengths lie in his ability to move the puck up the ice quickly. Kinsinger has solid skating, and with his size and strength has great ability to keep the puck on his stick and bring it up the ice on the rush. He's also got strong passing on the breakout again to get the puck up the ice with speed.

Finding space and scoring goals. That is what defines Shōyō Hinata. The small player from Japan is able to create space with his speed and hockey sense. His shot is fast and accurate. His defensive play has come a long way, he aims to be a complete player. Maybe someday he will be a 50 goals scorer in the SHL.

Aksel Fiske is a winning addition to any team. His skill lies not with his own scoring, but with his teammates'. Fiske expertly handles the puck and locates his linesmen to set up devastating goals that sneak past even the most talented of defensemen. With an eagle eye and a spot-on pass, this winger creates excellent goal opportunities that would please any GM.

Spack Jarrow
Left Winger

Spack Jarrow is an unknown commodity with a tendency to be unpredictable which makes him a versatile forward with a knack of throwing his opponent off by being in the right place at the right time, especially on the defensive side of the puck.

He originates from the Caribbean and because of that he has not been much of a focal point amongst scouts until recently. He doesn't have an allegiance to any specific hockey nation yet but that might change soon. Not much is known about how he got his start but his unique approach to the game has a lot of people talking. Although not everything is all positive as rumours also seem to dog him wherever he goes that he has a drinking problem. Some have claimed that he can not perform without at least one swig of rum before each shift.

Will he thrive or will he sink? Time will tell.

Goodenough is a sturdy center, providing a good blend of size and mobility. He shows hockey IQ at both ends of the ice, a reliable presence in the defensive zone while minimizing turnovers in the offensive zone. His solid frame allows him to get to and compete in the dirty areas while staying on his feet.

He excels in the defensive zone. Goodenough is responsible with the puck and often breaks up plays with his stick in the right position. A good set of hands allows him to control the faceoff circle and given the right linemates translates into some highlight reel plays in the offensive zone.

Borje Samuelsson may be a new prospect to the SMJHL, but he comes with a lot of experience. Prior to joining the league, he previously played in the VHL, a rival league. After a few subpar seasons (in terms of team performance), he decided to hang up his skates. However, the urge to become a champ never disappeared. Now, he's back with a vengeance. With a team behind him including a former SMJHL champion and an SHL hall of famer, he's eager to make an impact in the SMJHL and the SHL.

Skoda has always been a team player as long as he has been on the ice. Playing with his brother, Skoda learned to become a pass first kind of player, but the thing that stood out was the insane speed at which he decided to be a play maker. both for offense and defense.

Sometimes, pedigree is a big thing for a player. In this case, it's massive. Jesper is the third generation of the Aittokallios, and the fourth Aittokallio in the SHL. That's a lot of history to build on, and a lot to know about the league. Jesper has the knowledge that nobody else possibly could in this draft on how to be successful, and he has the drive to make it happen.

An old man's dream ended. A young man's vision of the future opened wide. Young men have visions, old men have dreams. But the place for old men to dream is beside the fire.
