With all the chaos of yesterday i found out a few things.

1. SHL Ownership is allowed to overstep HO without any checks to their power

This is a big issue in my own opinion despite similar huge decisions that seemed too harsh SHL Ownership did not step in until it effected Hamilton a team to which atleast of of them have deep ties too

2. SHL Ownership welds significantly more power then the isfl and the PBE

Looking at PBE and ISFL rulebooks it seems like the Owner wields significantly less power. They might get a vote in certain decisions however they have no power to overturn HO decisions. That is only given to an Appeals Committee. Leaving that decision up to only 2 people allows cases like today in which Ownership can get involved wherever and overturn a decision made by HO.

3. There is no way to removed a SHL Owner per the rulebook despite them being able to make key decisions for the league

This is where it gets even more gross, if any position is given the power to overturn decisions and the rulebook they should have a way for removal. Head Office can be removed from their positions and if the owners can make huge rulebook alternating decisions they should be under the same scrutiny. Right now we have a system where the people in charge hold absolute power with no way of removal. The term for a ruler with absolute power without any over site is a dictator, and while that might seem harsh to call the owners, the reaction from both GMs, HO, and The Public has made it clear that the owners aren’t acting for the leagues interest but their own


4. Of the FOUR SHL owners HALF of them are inactive with @teztify not having a post on the forums since April and @Eggy216 does not have a post since MARCH

That’s alone shows a need for change, the fact that the system was designed for multiple owners in a unison of decision making means that having inactive owners is embarrassing. Right now we have two guys alone who wield power to do whatever they want and clearly due to the reaction of the public, the GMs, and HO they are making decisions that no one agrees to besides Hamilton, who only will agree cause it benefits them
