The time has come. Your talent has been noticed by scouts at the highest junior level, and you are set to be drafted into the Simulation Major Junior Hockey League. What are the talents you possess that got you on the radar for these scouts, and that will get you picked in the S62 SMJHL Draft?
Written option: Write about the main strengths of your player in 50 words or more. Graphic option: Make a graphic of your player demonstrating their main strength. Must include a player/render and mention what the strength is. Reward 2 TPE for doing the thing. (Just one of the options, not both.) Only S62 SMJHL Rookies (S63 SHL Draftees) are eligible for this PT. Do NOT claim TPE for this task until a post has been made in the claim thread. Deadline The start of the S62 SMJHL Entry draft (date will be added when available)

Shit. Clearly reading instructions aren't my strong point.

Chris McZehrl Jr., the son of Legend Chris McZehrl sen., cousin of VLAD McZehrl and holy family member of GOD McZehrl, is a natural born leader with strengths on both ends. He is having a good offensive and defensive play. He is also already a good faceoff player. He brings much fun on the ice and is always happy to play hockey.

Another defender named Emerson. The second generation player is nothing like his old man. San-sam Emerson's strengths are in his offensive instincts rather than the pure defensive game that his father played. At the moment the greatest tool in San-sam's kit is his vision in the offensive zone. He is hungry for the puck and wants to take the shot whenever he can. He will shoot so much that fans in the crowd won't know what the yell at the players during the power play.

Lias Ekholm-Gunnarsson's strengths are the exact opposite of what you would expect of someone his size. He is small, but he has learned how to throw his weight around, and has a talent for knocking people off of the puck and skating off with it before they see him coming (on account of him being very small and very fast). He will skate up on you, shove you into the boards, and take the puck away from you before you notice that he only comes up to your shoulder. At the end of the day, though, he's getting drafted because I am legally obligated to draft him.

Tretiak is strong in the crease like a rocky cliff. He is agile like a breeze that suddenly comes the knock the puck away, again and again. His personality is fun-loving yet serious and he supports his teammates like the foundation of a house. He is mentally tough and highly-conditioned. Personally he exudes confidence an is an ambassador and student of the game. Usually he trusts his instincts as to where the puck is going and then moves any way possible to stop it. His nickname is The Dominator.

Lacksamus's greatest strength on the ice is his ability to read the opposing team and set up new plays quickly. Utilizing his quick acceleration, top speed, and agility he's able to put himself in positions to compromise the defensive opponents and find new ways of getting the puck into the net. Whether that be off his own stick or a crucial pass to others he'll be able collect point after point.

Ergo Nomic has many strengths. For starters she is a thrill to have around. Amazing locker room personality. On ice, she can block every shot. Doesn’t even blink. Just boom blocked. Next. Ergo is of course a defensewomen, but did you know she won two cups with her college team. She is a winner.

Tommy can push the puck well, is always looking to make the extra pass to set up a scoring opportunity, and isn't afraid to hammer someone into the boards once the puck gets loose. The kid can damn well skate on the walls, and has a knack for being in the right place at the right time.
HIT SOMEBODY Cheers to tweedledunn and supertardis101 for the awesome signatures! [/pbcust]

Scott Thorn is all muscle and no brain which is exactly what teams are looking for. A disobedient dog without a leash that will smash and bash the teams way to victory. Any obstacles in the way of the cup will be physically removed from the room. Thorny will smash.

Whats the best thing about Jack Cuff? Hes been known for his scoring abilities. Hes a pure scorer and overall just a great dude in general. He brings the moral up in the locker room he never has a negative attitude towards anything. He will end up being a steal of a draft pick.

Brain Brettski enters the draft as the Minnesota native that has shaken up the northern front. Brain has been described as, well, just that. A brain on the ice. Brains prowess can really be seen through his ability to make his teammates shine, as well as shining on the ice himself via sick nasty passes that make defenders look silly, and his ability to finish around the net. Brain is a true general on the ice, leading his team to the state championship 4 years running, as well as drawing some praise by the head coach of local D-I college University of Minnesota-Duluth. When asked about his abilites, Head coach Scott Sandelin had these remarks of Brain - "He is one of the smartest to come out of Minnesota as of recent memory. He seems to be in the right place at the right time, at all times when he is on the ice. I look forward to seeing where he can go."

Lesgo Brandon is one of the best natural skaters to ever come out of Minnesota. He is still young just finishing up his last year in High School after winning 3 straight state championships and breaking 3 scoring records. Lesgo is known for his skating ability but his silky smooth hands and keen eye for making plays happen give him a huge boost in any offense. He has a solid ability to create space and to dish the pick in tight areas make it seem like he's playing against cones at times. I see Lesgo breaking through and really leading the charge on offense this coming year. I would be a fool if I didn't have him in my top 3 for odd on favorite for rookie of the year! LESGO!!!!!

I come to the SMJHL to shoot pucks. Other people come to play hockey. Everyone try hard two way game. This is silly. You win hockey by getting pucks in the net. That is what I will do for your team. Win games by putting the hockey puck in the hockey net. Simple.

Rolf Korhonen, the son of a Shepherd, is a two way defenseman from Finland who's main strengths are his offensive amd defensive reading. He also has great speed, strength, and stamina that means he can stay in it with the best of the SMJHL. His passing is really good, and he is also good at fighting if that is what want.
