Hello everyone,

I would first of all like to apologize if you haven't heard from us yet. As they say, shit happens (those who know, know).

So, instead of trying to rush an All-Star Weekend way into the season, @FuzzSHL and I have elected, with the support from our committees, to push the All-Star weekend to after the end of the playoffs.

Here are the important things you need to know for this special iteration of the All-Star Weekend

All-Star Weekend Date
The All-Star Game will take place on Saturday, December 18th, time TBD. This leaves us plenty of time and should be right at the end of the playoffs. This notably has the advantage of keeping people involved on the site during the last stretch of the playoffs with the Last Players In vote happening during the finals.

All-Star Weekend Host
It's time for the SMJHL to host the All-Star Weekend, the first time it happens since we switched to the new combined format! As a reminder, we host this event once every three seasons, with the other two being hosted by SHL teams.

All-Star Logo Contest
Coming back again is the All-Star Logo Contest!

The money prizes for this contest are as follow :
$4,000,000 for 1st place, $2,000,000 for 2nd place if the contest receives less than 5 submissions
$6,000,000 for 1st place, $3,000,000 for 2nd place, and $1,000,000 for 3rd place if the contest receives 5+ submissions

Here are the requirements :

The logo submissions include two (2) variations: One (1) for SHL and one (1) for the SMJHL.
The logo must be the same in every other way except for the league abbreviation.
While not necessary, we strongly recommend incorporating the host team's colors and overall theme into the logo. You can find a few examples of recent winning logos.

Both committees will vote on the logo submissions and the total of the votes will determine the winner(s). In case of any tie, the committee from the host team will have the tiebreaker. If the tie persists, the committee heads will select the winner of the tie.

The logo contest for this season's All-Star Game opens now and will close Sunday, December 12th, at midnight Eastern time.

Submissions should be sent via Discord or on the site to either @FuzzSHL (Fuzz#3896) or myself (lespoils#4267).
